High-Sensitivity Magnetic Proximity Sensors

With its high sensitivity, a back-biased TMR magnetic switch can detect small ferromagnetic parts like the nail in a sheet-rock stud a fair distance away. Larger ferromagnetic objects can be detected farther away. The sensors can even detect the slight permeability of stainless steel around extruded bends.
The ADT-Series is the newest of several NVE digital magnetic switch families. Key specifications include:
Operate points as low as 1.5 mT.
A 1.1 x 1.1 mm DFN4 package.
The 2.4 to 4.2 volt supply range is ideal for lithium or lithium-ion batteries or 3.3 volt power supplies.
