    I'm convinced that yarn is superior to foam. Foam is very fragile and breaks easily and is harder to position. The cassette felt is a great tip. Foam for light seals is eventually going to rot again but cotton yarn will last forever, just ask any Egyptian mummy :) Great job on the video.

      Mummy wrappings were soaked in resins and glues of all sorts, it's more like weak fiberglass.

    Good tips! Can't believe it never occurred to me to just take the fabric from a film canister.

    What about the light leaks coming from the front end of the camera ?

    Hello! Can you give me a pieces of information about the white leaks? I have a Praktica VLC2 and many pics what I've shot have these white leaks. That's so frustrating. What can causes this problem?

    • @ThirtyFiveStudio
      @ThirtyFiveStudio  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! White leaks usually come from the front of the camera (lens side). I’m not familiar with that exact camera, but the usual culprit for white light leaks is the shutter curtain. Check if it has any tears or holes. 🙂

    IMO, I'd never use super glue. Once it's set, that's it. Dissolving it will be a pain in the ass. I would use contact cement instead.
