Since the video doesn't name the cruise company, it's Celebrity Cruise Line. Everyone should know the name and take appropriate action. Merrien's father managed to get legislation passed that required promptly reporting missing passengers before he died in 2017. It's unacceptable that the ship's videos were deleted, seemingly after the PI got involved (on the 30th day, according to Google) and the family had to live with the uncertainty that she committed suicide when foul play may have occurred. Remains, believed to be Merrien's, washed up in Canada and were recovered and DNA tested.
I've seen too many Seconds from Dusaster and Air Disaster shows, plus I vividly remember 9/11, so no flying. Years ago, my family & I went on a local cruise in AK. That's was different, though.

I'll keep my wheels on the ground where I can see what's coming at me and not free fall over 30,000 feet, crash into a mountain hidden by clouds, nose dive into the ground, break apart in the ocean or river, or break apart due to an uncontrollable tail spin. Each to their own, but flying isn't for me anymore.
