Years ago, every time a co-worker returned from Las Vegas, she talked about how much she won. I thought I wasn't winning - until I realized I won, too, but I was just putting the money back into the machines.
Please correct me if I have misunderstood your advice. If I put say $50 into a machine and I play for awhile and my credit goes to say $120 you’re saying to cash out the extra money put it aside and continue with my original $50 instead of feeding it back and that’s how I’m winning. I will put this into practice my next trip to the casino. 😁👍🏻🎰

The first time I was able to print the win/loss statement off the casino's kiosk I was shocked. I usually go on my casino trips with $500, just for playing. Trips were usually only 3-6 times a year, yet my coin in was substansially more than my play money. I have always saved good line hits and mini jackpots, as I am a sore looser. Plus it lets me judge my overall win/ loss. Even though I take money home and its usually always more than I brought to play with. Still play with the casinos money. Without the win/loss statement would have no idea how much is recycled through the machines.

I agree with yr reasoning totally. You hv given me a tool to take that win out of the machine so I don't continue to give it back and that's the cash box.
I Finally hv my birthday plans finalized and going to Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in May. I worked on organizing a cousins reunion to coordinate with my birthday.
So Foxwoods will happen when you both go there.

Win lost statements show how much money you really win! Cash box really helps if you use it. I cash out when I double up and put winnings away. Like to go home with some cash.
I always flip credits to currency on the machine. This reminds me I'm playing with real money and not just credits.

i goto roulette with $100. out $50 on first and $50 on 2nd. if i hit. i take my
money and cash in. then take a break. and the. goto a $5 or $15 dollar table and play the minimum.

I love your sense of humor Dave and Marc. 😊👍I 100% agree with you guys. We as gamblers actually win more on slot machines than we realize in the casino. People forget that gambling by definition is a form of entertainment and it's always best as you guys say in your videos gamble what you can afford and especially leave the debit and credit cards at home. We can't blame the casino for our own individual problems.
actual decent advice... i just came to see how wrong they are... thinking it was one of those slot videos where they tell how to "win" when actually they just shilling for the casinos... this however was great advice. im going to try not spin down to zero every time and leave when my decided spin amount is over, or a decent 50x or higher win...
I won $5200 last week and took a 1/3 in cash and the rest in a check. Helped not to have that whole jackpot in cash handy cause I likely would've spent more of it.

Ya''ll are spot on. When you play slots that have coins like a Slots A Fun, you can see and hear the coins hitting the holder and then putting them in the bucket. You will look at the bucket of coins and stop more than you would playing coin-less slots.Bankroll is a big factor. If you are trying to bet bigger to win bigger and the bankroll does not support that, more than likely it is not going to work out well.I try to cash out when its in the profit territory or if the machine is just slurping the money.I hear this one over over."I left the machine that I put a lot of money into it so it should have hit.I left the machine and someone came behind me and won"I do not let that rule my decision any longer.When it is time to get up, get up and leave that machine. Im a DA (figure it out lol) i walked into Choctaw a couple days ago. Up $250. Got ballsy and decided to try $10 on double top dollar. $20 a spin. Lost it all but at least i figured id play with my winnings and not my original bankroll

Considering that the probability is that I won't get above my starting bankroll at all, the hard question is: If I do find myself ahead, how far ahead is "enough"? Everything in that casino is telling me to play for the Big Win, but I know in my head that if manage to get, say 20% ahead, that's actually amazing. If it were *easy* to get 20% ahead, nobody would be buying stocks, etc. They'd all be at the casino. And yet, in the casino atmosphere, a 20% increase, especially with a smaller bankroll, just doesn't feel like much.
Very true but if you bank those small wins rather then always chasing bigger wins, you will likely still lose but at least you're coming home with something. This is where a lock box can very helpful for many players. Lets say you put $100 in a machine, you get it up to $150 or even $200. Cash out, bank $20-$50 in the lock box and try and do it again with the remaining bankroll. It's better then coming home with nothing because you didn't get that "big" win. But yes....that impulse to keep playing and seeking that "big win" is very real.
Cash out after every win. You may have a lot of titos, but you are ahead in the end.

Man, I wish it was easier for me to walk out when I win big. So many times have a I won a jackpot then put it all back in the machine and then some. I hate that feeling of leaving the casino with nothing to show for it.

Or you need a frugal partner who will take the win and keep it for you but let you still play with a certain amount 😊😊
A method I use sometimes let’s say I take $500 I brake it into 20s then I only put 20 in a machine if I get up over $10 I cash out and if I continue to play put another twenty in if it doesn’t do something in $10 cash out if it hits repeat. Then I cash in my tickets ounce bank roll is done might have 20 tickets or so. If I’m up I play on that money if down I’ve played and still leave with some money. Now I only play vgts .

Correct, there are no winning strategies or methods. The video is more about how to manage your bankroll based on machine selection. No one can control or change outcomes. However you can control your bankroll and the machines you select to play (i.e. low/high volatility games).
