    wait, what about reporting the mean-rank or median? one should have to report the very statistics being compared, right?

    In Datatab, I very frequently use the Mann-Whitney U-test. Now I wonder how to correctly interpret the measured effect size r. For the t-test, a table is shown in Datatab, for help on interpreting the value of d (the t-test effect size).
    Is there a comparable table for r (the effect size of the Mann-Whitney U-test)?

      @@datatab Thank you! That is really a great help! 🙏 Until now I have fruitlessly searched the literature for these specific data. And maybe would it be possible to include the table in the statistics calculator if one clicks the button for Effect size?

      ​@@ewald59 Yes that is a good point! I will have a look at it! In many tests, however, the effect size has moved directly to the bottom of the results table and there is sometimes no longer a button with "Effect Size".
