I remember the days when this song was released...i was sent to a hostel in kalimpong...i was separated from my mother, staying there against my will, and treated unfairly by everyone. It was a very harsh condition to live in. I was very small. I always missed my mother. When i heard cars outside the hostel, i used to look at them from the windows thinking that my mother has come to visit me....but no, they were different people. But still, i would not give up, and i would still look through the window waiting for my mother to visit me..."mommy, there's no need to take me home along with you, just come and visit me someday. That would be enough"💔💔💔
Yo era ko 1974 AD was the best. Phiroj as lead vocalist. Adrian isn't bad but he can't match up to this. Parelima and this song proves Phiroj Syangden's magic.
Correction: Every time I look at the stars; I see your smiling face; Try so hard to work it out; But everything is out of place; Just a faded photograph; But that too is tearing apart; Please mail me; Will we meet again?
@@PawanBhattaraiLion I hear mail somehow. To be honest it's not so clear and his English ain't that great I believe. But logically 'mail' and 'tell' would both be correct given different scenarios. "Samjhi baschu"- when living apart, would more relate to 'mail' while a breaking up scenario better would have "please tell me". I prefer the preceeding scenario of remembering someone. But anyway it's not a rocket science, they could have chosen any word.
@@manasjoshi2096 No problem. Whoever is editor of 1974 AD on this video, put the wrong lyrics while I listened many times to get original lyrics, or my guess of the original lyrics to sing.
It's been almost 20 years I've been listening to this song, probably the first song with English verses, I never understood the right English lyrics part..... But this is one of my favourite song.. especially the flute from Manose and the last line..
@Ankit Verma I will translate for you but after somedays and dont feel sad with that dumbass comment music is for everyone afterall countries and government are just manmade thing but can't be above humanity...
