    I invested $100 in Webull more than a year ago, purchasing the 40 fractional shares... there was no interest return on my investment with the $100 just sitting in my account. What strategy should do to start making returns?

    I admit, I am confused. I have deposited cash. I will practice and try to understand what's going on. Thank you for the insight so far.

    on average what's a good price to invest for 100 shares?

    • @ryanmcgregorr
      @ryanmcgregorr  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Hey Alicia, that would depend on the stock. For example, when I paid an average of $195/share for 100 shares of Tesla stock, I believed it was a great price because there are so many innovative products/services coming down the road. (Tesla is now trading at ~$340).
      On the other hand, I believe paying $80 per share for a stock like Verizon is too high (currently trading at ~$42) because of many factors like company financials, future potential growth, etc.
      It depends on the company and what you believe it's worth.
      Thanks for watching. 🙌

    My options chain looks way different than yours. There is several columns and none say strike.
    Loving your content though!!

    • @ryanmcgregorr
      @ryanmcgregorr  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hey thanks for watching and glad you're liking the content! I simplified my options chain so it'd be easier to focus on in the video.
      For the strike column, it may not be labeled because both calls and puts might be showing for you. The strike column will be in the center of the screen.
      If you want the options chain to only display calls:
      Go to the options section of a stock > click the "Both" button near the bottom right of the screen > select "Calls".
      This will display the "Strike" column on the far left of the page and it will be labeled.
      Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hey quick question just started etc I had bought 11shares right when I try to sell for a profit it says cash account can’t short sell I need a 2k margin acc in order to short sell is there a way around or am I cooked?

    • @ryanmcgregorr
      @ryanmcgregorr  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hey thanks for watching, you’ll want to have at least 100 shares. This makes it a “covered call”, so if you were to have to sell your shares to someone else, you have them available to sell.
      You can also sell an uncovered call using margin (where you don’t own the 100 shares), but this is far more risky. I would definitely wait until you own 100 shares.
      I hope that helped. 🤝

    For some reason when when im on the app and on the website im not able to click the "contract". It shows them and all the numbers but i click on everything and nothing happens. Is this maybe bc I don't own the stock I'm looking at or i dont own 100 shares of said stock? Can you help me? Thanks for your videos! They help me tremendously.

    • @ryanmcgregorr
      @ryanmcgregorr  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Corey, you should be able to click on the contract even if you don’t own the stock.
      Is it possible that you’ve signed up for Webull but haven’t yet submitted a brokerage account application that has been approved?
      Webull will let you sign up without opening a brokerage account, but the features are limited.
      Let me know. Thank you for watching!

      Hey Daniel, you can customize it. I removed a few things to make focusing on what I was talking about in the video easier! You should still see the info I talked about, just among some other stuff. Thanks for watching. 🙌

    sir our ca mam tell us don't trade in future and options
    its just too risky

    • @ryanmcgregorr
      @ryanmcgregorr  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Typical options trading (the strategies people are most familiar with) are risky.
      Selling Covered Call options, a strategy less people are familiar with, is very low risk.
      I’d encourage you to watch through the entire video to see why.
      Thanks!

    Focus on using the app, you go around the world explaining something I do not understand ... just talk about a simple transaction.

    • @ryanmcgregorr
      @ryanmcgregorr  หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Hi, yes, you can start on Webull with any amount of money. This comment is referring to the sign up bonus, where you get 40 fractional shares of stock for depositing at least $2,000.
      You can still get free shares by depositing at least $100 to get started investing/trading with.
      Either way, that is just to get the sign up bonus. Webull lets you invest with as little as $5. 🔥
      Hope that helps. Thank you for watching. 🤝
