Grow rich slowly, I did it and you can too. I also did it for my son. When he was born I opened an UTMA account for him with $25.00 and added money when I could. At 18 I turned that UTMA into a Roth IRA. My son is now 39 and the value of his account is over $225,000.

To get started if you had no money there are credit cards out there that allow you to borrow on them at a discount, at least one has a borrowing rate of 1.x percent, you could start that way. After a time their rates go up. A disciplined plan would need to be followed through on to start paying it back.

You'll probably need a custodial account to get started meaning you can't make your own trades until you're 18. It's a good start, you're getting started 7 years before I did and trust me, 30, then 40 come fast. Finally compound interest is real and works, be patient.

You can’t turn it until a Roth IRA. You can only contribute up to the contribution limit and earned income a year.
