What kind of wood do I need to make one? Do you just seal it with pine resin or something?

Balsa ou bien paulownia sont les bois les plus légers et qui flottent le mieux. Et ils résistent bien à l'eau.
Il faut appliquer une couche de linseed oil pour la finition comme on le voit dans la vidéo.

One thing I can’t stand about shaping, the power tool sounds. I only use hand tools.

If everyone surfed wood boards be a lot of chopped down trees. With over 75% of trees gone now from fires & chopping down to have farms to supply meat to the greedy masses we need less trees cutting down… pile of crap mate
