I'm glad that you are feeling more comfortable with your new church group. It all takes time. Great video! I praise you for all of the baking that you are doing. It looks seriously delicious! That said, it appears like it is throwing you into a tizzy! So much to bake, so many trips for ingredients to the store, etc. It is a nice gesture. At my work place, I have several people that I'm directly supervising and they report to me (and another colleague) for direction. The last few years it has been easier to throw a pizza party with a few plates of cookies, and have some "down time," versus gifting with caribou cards, baked goods, etc. It's taken the edge off a bit- staff seems to enjoy it. Life is a balance ... we always need to work on figuring out how to lighten our load. Hang in there with your activities. Enjoy the kid's activities. Great to hear the positives about Nate's concert! Precious!

Oh my goodness, you could be my daughter with anxiety over having to do things. I get so nervous I make myself sick literally sick. I hate having to do things in front of people. I’m almost 65 years old and I’m afraid I’m not going to change now. But it sounds like you had a lovely time. Have a wonderful and Blessed Sunday

🎄We did secret sisters 👭🏻 for years and I was in charge of it. It was so fun finding out who had who and giving the last gift. 🎁
I do the same thing with foods I take to parties, never thinking it's good enough and I've got to stop stressing myself out with thinking no one's gonna like it-they always end of loving it and it's fine. 😅 This is all part of my anxiety healing. 🙏

❤Yep you are like me wanting to have everything perfect for Christmas 🎄 and I end up dreading it all. I had this talk with hubby couple months ago.
He told me that I am putting too much pressure on myself and allowing the stress to take over.😢 i don't have to accept the stress if I lower my expectations of what Christmas really is.
So I made my normal Christmas lists and decided to cross off ✔️ things that don't HAVE to be done and it would still be a great Christmas season. 🎅🏻

Lists list lists at the beginning of the season! 📝 one for gifts, one for parties, one for school events, one for treats to make, etc...... I live by lists and my planner. 😅
Just my opinion...🥰....You are amazing and so nice BUT you're making too many tins of goodies. So instead you could take a big tray to take to the teachers and toi each church group/party instead of doing individual tin gifts. That's way too much and too expensive. 😮
Instead of teacher gift cards-you bring in a tray of goodies 🍪 🍫 🍩 for them to share.
When I worked at the daycare school 🏫 this is what a lot of parents did instead of individual gifts and we all loved it. 😊
And if you don't like that idea, then go to hobby lobby day after Christmas and buy 20 tins to put in the garage for next year because they are like 80% off then. 👏 (I used to work there 😅)

Girl you are doing great! We had a tough week! I’m subbing as a school nurse. My son needs pulmonology consult for EILO. He is a multi-sport athlete & his throat is closing up when he exercises. And then on Tuesday he tore a tendon in gym class, so he’s in a splint and off sports x6 weeks. And the dentist had to call an ambulance for my 18 yr old- and I had to call off work between both kids and their appts that day. I don’t have my tree up or a single present wrapped yet. Big time struggle bus over here!

Happy Sunday! The way you described your challenges with talking to new people, especially bigger groups of already established connections… is EXACTLY me too! Just even the way you described it is exactly what I go through too. Glad I’m not alone in that. I have to push myself but then when I get know those people, I’m not shy at all. 😅😅
