In this video i have shown how to release moment in Y and Z axis on the start point / end point / or both of the secondary beam. I even have shown how to identify such typical joins where we need to release the moment.

Sir so nice of u It is very informative & easy to understand This is vital for correct analysis

All concrete beam are fixed, definitely it gonna have moment, there is no need to provide releases in concrete beams, it should be carried out in steel beams...

If you don't release some of the moment, won't it cause torsion in the primary beam it is attached??

Sir Very good video. Why only Mz and My moments are to be release? Why not Mx. Please explain.

Don't release my or mz of secondary beam instead release mx of primary beam at the joint where it meat secondary beam.
    1) releasing mz and my of secondary beam does mean that secondary beam is simply supported which is not true.
    2) releasing mx of primary beam does mean that primary beam is allowed to rotate under torsion from secondary beam moment at that joint so this means torsion in primary beam will linearly increase from joint with secondary beam up to column join. And this is practically true.

what are the codal provisions for the moment release

Yes exactly my question. Why only release My and Mz?

    Why not releasing also Mx?

Can u tell me ,whether i should release moment or not on balcony beams also?

Sir if a balnce canitleaver beam is modelled with 4.5m main beam & 1.2 m cantileaver from this , In order to have continuity in cantileaver & main beam what shall be specifications ? Kindly answer

Secondary beam is fixed in primary beam with monotonically concrete casting and it will be fixed in primary beam . So how we can release moment in fixed end of beam . There must be presented moment which can not be released practically. It is natural phenomena.

even though fixed but secondary beams have no column, therefore, staad pro analysed mathematically but practically it is different

Video time 8:13 to 8:20 dhyaan se dekhiye moment kis beam par release hoga mujhe kuch doubt ho raha hai, ho sakta hai mai galat bhi hun
