@@babrad he plays a bigger unchained package yes but the theory is still the same. he even used Mature chronicle to extend instead of searching for a super poly which was the point of that combo. find ways to improve it. for a more explosive higher ceiling combo that yubel by itself cannot achieve we needed the uchained cards that people like yo considered bad, bricks or win more. including more unchained cards also made playing through baronne savage easier. if it didn't unchained wouldn't have been tier 1 even with those cards legal. he got stomped since this wasn't exactly his list he just borrowed the deck from someone else and he even mentioned how BAD the side deck was so the point of him getting outplayed by memento isn't that good since he could have had a better chance if the side deck was better. and that point was even more so against the ritual beast player (they lend him the deck) so he literally knew he could full combo without fearing hand traps since he knew the deck didn't have any in the main or side deck aside fantazmay so resolving Protos was enough to auto win the match.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru i can also say Disaster is a brick, and despite that card being universally hated (thanks to Coder being a fake Unchained player) I love it and run it in my build. Since you read my comments a lot, you can see that I always like to see experimentation and even suggest other "off-meta" stuff, but AFTER TESTING i provide some FEEDBACK that can be negative sometimes. This is completely fine and can help lead to optimization instead of playing something unquestionably because "X said so" that can lead to poor performance. This is why i can't wait for Jesse's take on Unchained ft Yubel (not the other way around) because despite me being an ok player i can't even hold a candle to Jesse or his testing circle. If you remember our initial argument on Zephyr, i also considered Super Poly search winmore and debated Trinity into actually testing it. While he dropped it in the end, i still value its ability to play through Droll. Also the part about Unchained being "more explosive higher ceiling" or "playing through handtraps" better compared to Yubel isn't that correct. First of all, Fiendsmith sadly replace them. Then, the "push through handtraps" power was thanks to Sharvara that should have never been limited. Finally, as a 2 card combo deck, it requires 3-4 card combos (even thrust as a combo piece to set something) in order to break through boards. Yubel can do this as well, and even suffers the same weaknesses as Unchained (for example a very early Ash Blossom can turn ender, while they are both resistant to Imperm/Veiler/Nib) While the borrowed deck and "non-existent" side deck definitely played a factor, Jesse's capabilities also played a factor to not only get the best out of the decklist, but also use them effectively due to his knowledge of his opponent's decks. That's why i wait for it to be optimized/give us some feedback. However, the main issue of the deck will remain the very limited non-engine space, and depending on how the format will evolve it can make the build flop. Don't forget that during Unchained format, the other best deck was Rescue, a deck we traded interactions extremely well with. If Infernoble, Mannadium, Tear or Branded were the top deck instead, we could possibly never had Unchained win a YCS. I wonder, have you played "full power" Unchained against Synchro Snake Eye? I have, just for the fun of it. And Apo/Baronne/Savage/IP + 18 handtraps was very painful to deal with. Even by shifting into full boardbreaker mode (because unchained bricks after 12 handtraps) i still struggled to keep up to the point i believe they would have been naturally powercrept out of the format without any hit. You can try this yourself. When i was playing Tour Guide in Unchained and was suggesting Gate/Requiem as budget alternatives to Prosperity and Thrust, people like Tyler something and others were laughing at me (in dbg comments and stream) with only N3sh and Pak looking into it. But i got the last laugh 2 month later when every successful list played Tour Guide and even some Thrust build included Gates/Requiem. Isn't Requiem a brick? It definitely is, just like Shyama. But still it depends on the situation. A brick is a card that doesn't start your plays, and even hinders you after playing. The Unchained S/T not floating into a Shyama in hand can be very annoying and always a -1. That's what i was saying. Anyway, are you still playing the Super Poly build with 3 poly targets? (IIRC you had 2 Protector due to Kash Uni and Mud, when i was saying about Garura being a fine option instead of 2nd Protector) Personally i have a separate Yubel pure build based on super poly and backrow heavy. I also have a heavy Unchained build but it underperforms compared to both pure Yubel and "fiend link". That's why i believe an Unchained ft Yubel can make Unchained better than it is, but not necessarily better than the "yubel based" Fiend Link pile.

Since this is a deck you borrowed from your friend I gotta ask about your opinion on Yubel vs Unchained Yubel (this list)? And what kind of list would you build yourself?
It's Anotherverse Gluttonia, a YCS prize card that hasn't been reprinted and is the counterpart to Anotherverse Dragon. They have the same stats but Dragon is a light dragon and Gluttonia is a dark fiend
jesse got to be the only yugituber i can watch for an hour straight and still want to see more really good vid with live gameplay and commentary. im already playing a similar deck but its mostly unchained with a small yubel package to facilitate varudras + phantom but after watching the vid i think the yubel engine can do a lot more so will be switching things up and seeing what happens.
@@brucwayn6403 it sucks the deck got that expensive tbh. most of the yubel cards are cheap but nightmare thrones alone are like 140 for the playset. the rest of the cost is from the extra deck. the actual yubel cards are not expensive.
Kind of wish you gave us more information on the deck and a few basic strategies that it can do, viewers going in blind with a lot of questions, explaining play-by-play is decent and helps rather than just an aerial view of the field, BUT that doesn't tell what strategies you can do that doesn't tell what you're aiming to do, it's okay no biggie but would just like more of a background on the deck being used in the future, most people can't afford this deck and don't know how it plays
Bro just lookup yubel combos watch some of those vids then come watch this. I think he did a great job reanalizing his games explaining his thought process and missplays he may have had. This video is pure gold compared to basic combo videos. What you are asking for is like an hour and a half long video
@@TheZCACK you're right, i just wanted Jesse's input on the deck for info an strats, not a random dingoling in his basement bathroom, but yeah i suppose im kind of forced to do that anyways lol..
@BrolySnipez I feel that. Most of us would kill to pick Jesse's brain, especially if its a deck we use regularly. Thats why I want a purrely vid. I cant afford to play yubel either so I wont, but this video helps me understand how to play against it
@@TheZCACK Playing the bigger Unchained package isn't that common and way harder to find good quality videos for, so @BrolySnipez is right I would love to have Jesse's take on it. They eat a lot of spots for non-engine, the main payoff is Ceasar but they add at least 2 bricks (that's why he also plays Prosp). I love Unchained but I believe a mini yubel package in an unchained deck works better than anything more of Sharvara + Trap inside a Yubel deck. They get completely replaced by fiendsmiths anyway, even making Caesar more easily. But I always appreciate how they eat handtraps and keep going like it's nothing, I wish next list gives us a 2nd Sharvara.
yeah the only thing Unchained needed before was a negate. now it has that in both phantom to protect the board from nib and varudras from board breakers.
to end on Caeser along with Phantom, Varudras and Apo with the set unchained trap. you can't do that without playing shyama. it's not a bad card. I was playing this combo before even legacy of destruction but everyone thought it was a gimmick but phantom protects the entire combo now.
if you nightmare pain pop og yubel, can og yubel even go into terror? since its a when effect, last action you did in that chain was to add from deck instead off yubel destroying
"And" or "and if you do" consider both actions simultaneous so "when" effects don't miss timing. That's why it works with Pain, Sharvara, and Squirmer Using Squirmer/Sharvara as CL2 and popping a Yubel, or cards that have "then" make it miss timing because the last thing that happened isn't Yubel getting destroyed. It's either what happens during CL1 or what happens after the "then" part. So it doesn't go into Terror. Hope this helps.
that's not the issue he has with snake eyes. This deck is a lot more free style. also unchained cards were so good but the fiend resctriction hurt them a lot until Nexus support and now yubel takes them to the next level.
it's really at my locals I was the only person playing Yubel after the Phantom knightmare support came out. they would constantly tell me the deck wasn't good even while I was beating them or doing good with the deck. now Phantom got released and like 4 other people started playing the deck because it's "meta" now.
Why is your decklist so... different? Needs an explanation video. Running multiple traps? More than just a Sharvara? Triple Thrust? Lack of hand traps? What is bouncing around in that noggin, because it disagrees with literally every single Yubel player.
it's different if you never played yubel before legacy of destruction support. also if you understand Unchained theory. unchained cards can push through multiple hand traps so in a yubel deck it helps dodge or play though hand traps and being fiend lock no longer matter since Phantom of Yubel is so good and having the old unchained game plan of setting up yama in GY, rage and Caeser on end board makes the yubel end board so much harder to break without double board breakers. I played a similar theory deck list prior the legacy of destruction support but it had a hard time against nib. now with phantom of yubel being released that isn't an issue anyore. If I showed one of my friends the combos jesse was making in this video they would recognize these lines since I also theory crafted those lines back then as well. I'm not taking credit but it's very simple if you played unchained like jesse did before. if you watch some older TrinityYGO yubel videos you might see my opinion on his deck list and how much I did advocated for the unchained cards but they just kind of shit on my take and tried spear heading the promethean package instead.
imagine going to your locals to blow off some steam after a long day of work, then one of the greatest yugioh players of all-time strolls in
To be fair if you go to his locals it’s something you might get accustomed to.

It's honestly the reason I performed so well during AgOv format. This makes what I said fair criticism about the context a card is used, such as Shyama that IS a brick without a discard outlet. And having a discard outlet means you are ALREADY comboing off.
Yubel can do this as well, and even suffers the same weaknesses as Unchained (for example a very early Ash Blossom can turn ender, while they are both resistant to Imperm/Veiler/Nib)
While the borrowed deck and "non-existent" side deck definitely played a factor, Jesse's capabilities also played a factor to not only get the best out of the decklist, but also use them effectively due to his knowledge of his opponent's decks.
(IIRC you had 2 Protector due to Kash Uni and Mud, when i was saying about Garura being a fine option instead of 2nd Protector)
Personally i have a separate Yubel pure build based on super poly and backrow heavy. I also have a heavy Unchained build but it underperforms compared to both pure Yubel and "fiend link".
That's why i believe an Unchained ft Yubel can make Unchained better than it is, but not necessarily better than the "yubel based" Fiend Link pile.

Would you maybe try to fuse yubel and heroes for ultimate jaden deck?
the good hero cards lock you into hero monsters.
Audio quality is a bit scuffed or maybe its the voiceover. No idea what is being said.
Since this is a deck you borrowed from your friend I gotta ask about your opinion on Yubel vs Unchained Yubel (this list)? And what kind of list would you build yourself?
he literally says in the video he gives his view on the deck pure and this build along with post info build in his patreon.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru Apparently I'm deaf... thanks.
Yo dejo un campo yubel impasable
Should green screen the table and make animations
Whats the decklist please ?
what playmat was that with the thing that looks like some kind of void demon? Is that a Yugioh card?
It's Anotherverse Gluttonia, a YCS prize card that hasn't been reprinted and is the counterpart to Anotherverse Dragon. They have the same stats but Dragon is a light dragon and Gluttonia is a dark fiend
jesse got to be the only yugituber i can watch for an hour straight and still want to see more really good vid with live gameplay and commentary. im already playing a similar deck but its mostly unchained with a small yubel package to facilitate varudras + phantom but after watching the vid i think the yubel engine can do a lot more so will be switching things up and seeing what happens.
Yo boss man you gotta try the fluffals underrated tier 1 deck no kizzy
59:31 summons 2 tamers off canahawk (elder & wenn)
He made a big mistake but got away with it due to this..
What monster is that on your playmat Jesse?
Turner Orchard
hi will you post a deck list pls ?

Why did they think bringing promos back was ok it’s a lockout card cmon
deck profile?
purrely locals when 👀
How pricey is a full yubel deck bcz this looks like alot of fun
I would say it's around 600 for the core in total along with S:P (no hand traps going 2nd cards included) about 500 without S:P.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru thats not terrible but out of my range atm thnx for answering
I cant afford to play yubel either so I wont, but this video helps me understand how to play against it
@@TheZCACK thats a geniune answer, does make me feel better that im not alone about thiis lmao
Deck list please 😅
Can we get a deck profile
So sick
I cant believe "fiend pile" is a real deck lmfao 😂
yeah the only thing Unchained needed before was a negate. now it has that in both phantom to protect the board from nib and varudras from board breakers.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru yea, i cant wait to cook something up with the live☆twin cards lol
Gate guardian best deck
The audio is not in sync with the video, btw great videos new subscriber here!
Is this guy hiding the deck list in the patreon
Its the new dragon link
😮 bro WTF you don't run hand traps 🤦🏽 thats crazy, you always need hand traps
No you dont.. once you get to be a multi time champion.. you make the videos. Frigging melonhead
Decklist please! 😢

Why you still playing shiyama
to end on Caeser along with Phantom, Varudras and Apo with the set unchained trap. you can't do that without playing shyama. it's not a bad card. I was playing this combo before even legacy of destruction but everyone thought it was a gimmick but phantom protects the entire combo now.
if you nightmare pain pop og yubel, can og yubel even go into terror? since its a when effect, last action you did in that chain was to add from deck instead off yubel destroying
It does go into terror
It can because Nightmare Pain is an "and if you do" effect, which means the entire effect happens at the same time.
"And" or "and if you do" consider both actions simultaneous so "when" effects don't miss timing. That's why it works with Pain, Sharvara, and Squirmer
Using Squirmer/Sharvara as CL2 and popping a Yubel, or cards that have "then" make it miss timing because the last thing that happened isn't Yubel getting destroyed. It's either what happens during CL1 or what happens after the "then" part. So it doesn't go into Terror.
Hope this helps.
7:57 can you actually summon yubel with throne, when you pop spirit? I thought it had to be 1 level below?
chain link 1 sprit of yubel, chain link 2 Nightmare Throne. Throne summons terror incarnate, Spirit summons Yubel
he's summoning yubel with spirit effect not throne effect. throne is summoning terror
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru tyty
Yubel is utterly broken and Im tired of it already after not even 2 weeks and Fiendsmith aint even out yet. Fuck the upcoming format, fuck Yugioh
nope, plants.
FUCK THE TORONTO NIGHTS
Nobody tell him its just like the Snake deck.
that's not the issue he has with snake eyes. This deck is a lot more free style. also unchained cards were so good but the fiend resctriction hurt them a lot until Nexus support and now yubel takes them to the next level.
almost everyone at locals use this deck 🤦♂️ 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Damn, you got an unlucky locals. At mine it's just me and 2 other dudes running Yubel.
it's really at my locals I was the only person playing Yubel after the Phantom knightmare support came out. they would constantly tell me the deck wasn't good even while I was beating them or doing good with the deck. now Phantom got released and like 4 other people started playing the deck because it's "meta" now.
dropped the terra so committed... at locals... yikes...
39:31 Jesse pile shuffles without Riffling afterwards? Literally cheating
Did konami declare the "official" way to shuffle?
The guy is a hypocrite who ducks challenges from the community so yea expect cheating
I hope they FUCKING GUT ALL THE UNCHAINED CARDS on the ban list 😠
How is this game fun now? Fck konami!
I wish i could buy sp sleeves but Import to Germany is absolut extensive 🥹
