    salam alaykum. First of all, thank you for your valuable and amazing content. Second of all, at minute 11:46 while checking the growth of the monthly sales for next year (forecast): you did the following:
    =(325000-257600)/325000 and you got 15.20%
    shouldn't we divide it by 275600? so the equation will be like:
    =(325000-275600)/275600 and we get 17.92% which can be double checked (275600*1.1792)= 325000 as the sale forecast
    waiting for your reply and thanks again for the amazing content

      Yes. I wonder how could he commit a silly mistake 18 % is correct (Sales 18/Sales 17) -1 Gives us % increase from 17 - 18

    Thanks for this valuable information.
    But can I ask. Is expected sales is budget by Amt or it is by quantity?
    Coz as per book we studied that we have to identify quantity and then sales price?!😊

    Kinldy let me know in this budget, the cost of sales is proportionately increasing with the forecasted sales, so does it mean the gross profit is expected to remain same as last year. Does the budget not meant to increase profit?

    • @masteringaccountingskills7717
      @masteringaccountingskills7717  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you see carefully, you will find the gross profit also increasing with the same %.
      There may be so many factors to be considered in calculating Cost of Sales Calculation, depends upon the nature of products and business.
