@@spookysquirtleclear amulet Hatterene doesn't get affected my Snarl, or Parting shot. Parting shot wouldn't drop Hatterenes stats but reflects the attack and Hatterene switches out instead

Its so crazy as a casual spectator to hear the commentators say this match up is hard and then see Wolfe totally dominate anyways. Pokemon is wild.
it wasn’t actually tough wolfe had a good matchup they just misread the situation, which is reasonable sometimes it’s hard to see how it’ll play out until the first game starts
Non-standard teams are just worse the better the opponent is. Wolfe has been preparing out of his mind this format.

I think sleep clause is only a thing in competitive singles and not in VGC haha
That's a smogon thing if I recall, not a vgc thing. Different formats.
Although sleep (and freeze) clause does exist in Pokemon Stadium, it's not a part of the actual mainline metagame. It's a pretty common misconception due to a lot of big name competitive YT channels being oriented around Smogon formats rather than on-cart competitive formats. While Smogon is fun, it's important to remember that it's an unofficial battle simulator and not a 1:1 representation of on-cart competitive play and that many of its rules, bans, and tier lists have little to no bearing on the IRL metagame. (Fun fact: the Little Cup format also originated in Stadium.)

Ngl Ben made some seriously bad moves in this. His team had some glaring weaknesses. Kudos to making it that far, but damn he really set himself up for failure being too one dimensional and not having good coverage
He could of won if he lead with smearlgle and terrad into grass along with Hatterene, then torkoal gets a free switch and have urshifu focus sash waiting in the back

Thats not fair sleep clause is not there you could of click darkvoid with darkrai but no cheats not professional very dissapointed on wolfe
Sleep Clause is only a thing in smogons unofficial singles clause, and darkrai isnt allowed in vgc
He is one of the major threats to VGC. I mean like he has a history of hacking, lies, and cheating. Only a super bulky Clefairy can survive those hits.
