Leicester fan here, thought you'd got it after that Welbeck goal too I was gutted. Still think it's funny Spurs came third that year, to be honest they should have won the title I think.

I grew up listening to my dad tell me the story’s about Nottingham Forrest, now my son will grow up to the story’s I tell him about Leicester City. Unbelievable season and gave everyone believe that anything is possible
For some reasons they have to thank Eden Hazard's brilliant goal against Spurs. Greatest story ever told Leicester City.
The Hazard goal was the actual moment Leicester won the Prem. At that point we were going to win it anyway, just when ? Remained. Ten points clear at the end. Even now its still unbelievable that it actually happened to the team I've supported since I became a football fan at 6 years old.

It was the year we should’ve won the title. In the end, we finished above Man City, Chelsea, Sp*rs, Liverpool, Man Utd... but still came up short thanks to a sh!t March. We didn’t deserve to win the title, but it was probably the greatest chance we had of winning the League under Wenger st the Emirates Stadium ever... now, we can only look back at it.
Had the collapse happened around April instead of early March, many would’ve remembered our role in the title race having some relevance. Instead, this season is now only remembered to us as the season where Leicester defied the odds deservedly, and we somehow managed to still finish above Sp*rs

Ranieri got so shafted after this, my god. If you win the league with a team with Leicester's expectations at the beginning of that year, even if people think it isn't because of you, you should be absolutely guaranteed another couple of seasons in the job, regardless of results. It's like if West Ham or even Norwich won this year and then the manager was sacked less than a year later.
Other teams found out Ranieri's tactics. He couldn't repeat the success. Adapt or die is the moral of the story. It was sad but he had to go. Look at Fulham. Didn't save the club despite using same tactics as at Leicester.
