Spooky is still badass, but I do feel what Clyde said was true, he didn't think Spooky could take Pacman, indeed, Clyde was an even harder boss than Spooky.
Im stuck deciding which is worse. Spooky wouldn't be so bad if he didn't mess with your controls, and Clyde wouldn't be so bad if you had a bit more room to move and if he wasn't so tough.
1:23 Wow. All I wanted as a child was to beat the game and totally ignored the composition that was in this game. This part right here just sounds so perfect for a final boss.
@@Subject_Keter Man I miss the days of going with my mom and sister on our paper route of delivering news flyers, banging my head on the ice pac man style (I tried to make a noise similar to them, and when they asked if i was alright, I’d nod it off haha) but then coming home and spin dashing to this in the arcade haha. Green and Purple Just Linger For a bit. Red Fireballs Make a Fire Trail That Chase You. Phase 3: He Then Starts Attacking You Fast and Strong, And Using All The Attacks He Used In the Last 2 Phases, Making Him Very Difficult to Hit.
Spooky, the only boss you defeat with flip kicks. I don't know why, but the fight with Spooky kinda reminded me of the fight with Gruntilda in Banjo Kazooie.
I mean, the whole song sounds a lot like music from that game. Especially the bassline, which has virtually the same pattern as grunty’s lair (slow it down a little if it’s not obvious at the normal speed).
I think the reason they don't include any World songs or stages is because the Pac-Man in Smash is supposed to be an overall representation of both himself and Bandai Namco. That being said, the World series has a very different vibe to it than other Pac-Man games, and while they are good games, they don't really portray Pac's general tone well.
Picto Net “Overall representation of himself” Yeah, because 4 games is overall representation. Also, I feel the World games (besides 3) keep a consistent vibe with the other Pac-Man adventure games.

I can imagine all the ghosts playing in a band while this is happening, each of them having imposing instruments.... And then we have the Orange who is playing the TUBA!
Clyde (Yeah that's actually the orange one's name. There was a naming error in this game I didn't know about until recently) is the idiot of the 4. So it makes sense he would be on the tuba. XD
I like how if you look really close at spooky he kinda looks like a standard ghost in a very menacing suit of armor. (At least in the cutscenes, anyways.)
Man, imagine how silly it would be if PM caught the ghosts at the intro, took all of their fruit from their hands, became Golden Pac-Man and fought Spooky right on the scene!!!!! xD It's hard to feel like this song is an ultimate remix of Spooky Island, because what it's truly meant to do is be a final boss battle also making it easier to realize you're not only back in Pac-Village but making an extra triumph out of seeing past monsters and hectically boasting the awe of the entire game of Pac-Man World 3. * Takes deep breaths * But yeah! I see you all down there! Pac-Man for the new Super Smash Bros. 4 TOTALLY! :D
Spooky, don't take this the wrong way... You're a nice final boss. I like the music, I like the atmosphere of fighting a flying wizard on a floating island inside a hurricane. But you just can't compare to Clyde, I'm sorry
I used to own a copy of the game, but one major flaw: It froze in the middle of this battle. And when I tried to restart it, my save file was missing. I eventually was able to get a working copy on eBay and sent that ghostly fuck back under the tree, where he shall stay for the REST OF FUCKING ETERNITY.
his main attacks could include the flip kicks and rev rolls, as well as the standard punch. his recovery (up B) would be the pac dot chain (a recovery similar to olimar's) and his final smash could be a giant pac man goes across the screen and everyone else turns into "ghosts" and take like 75 damage.
Spooky would be good because he could go into the background and shoot magic like I n PMW2, he would also spawn enemies from that game and they would be something to avoid, first when he comes out of the assist trophy, he would do an evil laugh and fly upwards into the background and from there he will do his thing.
@starfoxhero Pac-man has been proven the most iconic but as far as strength goes, it will be a mystery. . . unless they put Pac-man in Smash (like they should have already.) Thank you for being considerate.
