I think they can't get the rights to use or directly mention the world series. In the trophy decription for pac mans house it mentions the first World game by saying "One game ment to celebrate Pac Mans 20th Anniversary."
I don't see why. There's no split licencing with the Pac Man World games, plus Namco published and developed the games (except the the third one if i remember correctly)
😮Always thought this was a great way to introduce the Haunted Levels, straight up speed skate through falling platforms and obstacles with awesome music
To be honest, every soundtrack in the game epitomized what the level should *sound* like. That's why, along with the difficulty, it's an extremely underrated game
I remember years ago when I played this game and I was like "why does Pacman need roller skates for this level?" and then I see the platforms falling apart and I see why.
Absolutely loved this world and it's theme. Being a big fan of spooky/hauntingly dark levels in games as it is, this theme and it's stage most certainly made the difficulty of going through the game to this point all worth while.
Kyndol Clark Hey. I've seen some of your comments on some Super Mario 3D World music. It's nice to see an avid listener of great video game music like myself. The music of Pac-Man World and Super Mario is great, so it's always cool seeing someone who appreciates that.
CrimsonEbonyTears What I look for in games is great atmosphere. And atmosphere in games is created not just by the environments, but mostly by the music in them. Pac-Man World 2 has been one of those few games to me that has great atmosphere. The B-Doing Woods music really creates amazing atmosphere for the level, and has to be my favorite in the game. Super Mario Sunshine is another game with fantastic atmosphere in it, and the tropical setting of the game is perfect. But most of all, it's the music that makes the game. and all games, so memorable. Sometimes that's the single deciding factor that I think of when looking at a game to buy. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is another game with great atmosphere.
This comes in at #3 among my top favorites. This sets a perfect mood for Haloween time. It sounds like another one of those big hits. It gets your adrenaline going.
I just bought a PS2 so I could play some old games that I still have, and I had a complete nostalgic breakdown when I came across this game. I can't wait to finish it, and play some Pac-Mania
I remember getting scared as a kid the first time i played this level. The initial wolf howl and clap of thunder were loud enough to get me to jump. Best track in the game by far though.
I rly love this song b/c I remember when I was small and played this with my cousins. I finally reached this level and it rly interested my cousins more into the game and we had so much fun taking trying our hardest to beat it.
I never beat the last level because I didn't know where to go and I kept falling. Even with the checkpoints, It was so hard to get everything in that level.
I loved whistling along with these last levels.. but the board walk skating was soooo much more fun than the ice skating! I still whistle along with it now as I listen to it.. lolzz gotta love the ADRENALINE RUSH!
@TheSuperyoshi101 I wanted the tokens for the museum so damn bad! But hell no am I going out to VOLCANO levels for tokens. Its like your asking me to go to hell.
If there is one thing i will always remember about this level, it would be the ludicrous amount of lives spent in the final section obtaining 100%. Thank god the galaxian is at the final checkpoint so if you do it just right you get enough points to propel yourself over 25,000 points, thus awarding you an extra life every time you die and return to that checkpoint. (you have to get the regular checkpoint before getting the galaxian in which a large amount of points must also be obtained)
Here in 2018 I came back to this and thought that holy heck this would have worked perfectly in Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment as well as the abandoned resort in Celeste
papershadow69 Uhh, is it a miracle I actually didn't have a hard time with the ghost island levels? The only level that caused me a bit of frustration was the submarine one
***** I've actually managed to get 100% on Ghost Bayou. It just took a little while, and I remember I didn't die so much. So I got through it pretty well :)
There is a game mod called 'Sonic Mania: The Misfits Pack' where you can play reimagined zones from Sonic CD and Sonic 2 that are not in the original Sonic Mania game. In a demo released in 2018, there was a new zone called Boardwalk Bayou, the creators used this bg music for it. The zone hasn't been included in the following demos after that, and they haven't mentioned anything about it, so apparently this zone was cancelled and removed from the game
This level might be harder than Clyde. (Especially with the ghosts at the end throwing fire at you after you're already injured.) While Spooky wasn't as hard as Clyde, he's easily the second hardest boss and the Ghost Island levels (minus Night Crawling, which wasn't too bad, though I NEVER was able to find all the fruit on it despite hours and hours of searching)) were easily as hard as, if not harder than, the volcano levels.
This game has such an incredible OST, very underrated game that many should play
I wish this would get an HD remake on Pc or something!! >.
I'd like if they re-did the water and boardwalk levels, or at least alter them to make 100% the game more feasible.
+Cody Orvik
Pac-Man World 3
+Cri Cat
He's asking for a game that isn't a total piece of shit lol
The underrated Pac Man game that had my childhood in it.
That moment of urgency you get when the platforms start sinking...(0_0)
I remember that, ugh all the rage is coming back...
And then you miss a platform out of panicking
+Lion Universe but the music makes the stress less....well stressful.
+Galactic Hobo And it does this how, exactly?
It happened too much in my playthrough of this
Most underrated ost ever
A Random Chicken couldn't agree more
A Random Chicken Most underrated GAME ever.
indeed this ost slaps
I feel like this level gives the most sense of tension compared to the other Ghost Island level themes.
I feel like that Random Chicken was ran over years ago...
The violin parts are amazing
Literally the greatest spooky track I’ve ever heard from any game
Along with Hu Tao from Genshin Impact
May not be the greatest but give "Shrek: Smash and Crash - Haunted Woods" a listen
Jumping off that sinking platform to the next like it was the fucking Titanic
Irony's Offspring
One time I was to late to jump because the fu©king platform
I love this song! It strikes a perfect blend of mystery, creepiness, and fast paced.
Me too such nostalgia
I remember when I first reached this level, I decided to jump in the water.
You can probably guess what happened.
you found the secret dev exit they programmed because it was too hard for them and got teleported to the end
ded
Death
You are dead. Not big surprise.
We all did.
That's funny.
It somehow manages to sound like a combination of Banjo Kazooie and Castlevania, which wasn’t something I imagined could exist.
I don't know why, but this makes me think of a pizza delivery guy on scooter delivering pizza on Halloween night. _Why though?_
I can see it too after reading that
This thought has been in my mind for AGES! That's so cool!
subliminal messaging from similar media probably
As a delivery driver, I now plan to blast this if I work on Halloween 2020
Roller blades
And this isn't in Super Smash Bros. 4 because why?
At least they have the puzzle minigame galaxian piece and his kick flip in smash.
Miyamoto even worked with namco during development of Pac-Man World 2 to make Pac-Man Vs as a Gamecube Exclusive Title.
Honestly, like these games (especially 2) were amazing and so underrated.
😮Always thought this was a great way to introduce the Haunted Levels, straight up speed skate through falling platforms and obstacles with awesome music
Maybe it's the stock-holm syndrome of the level but this is a great piece of music. It captures the atmosphere and the pace of the level very well.
To be honest, every soundtrack in the game epitomized what the level should *sound* like. That's why, along with the difficulty, it's an extremely underrated game
Going for 100% on this level was pain, but going through it fast like it was intended to be played is much more fun.
When you are roller-skating at night time.
Am I the only one who thinks this would make a great Halloween theme?
that is the point of the level you are on :3
Well now you're not because I agree
I remember years ago when I played this game and I was like "why does Pacman need roller skates for this level?" and then I see the platforms falling apart and I see why.
100%ing this level is a pain in my ass. This, Blade Mountain, and Ghost Bayou were probably the hardest levels to beat completely
Absolutely loved this world and it's theme. Being a big fan of spooky/hauntingly dark levels in games as it is, this theme and it's stage most certainly made the difficulty of going through the game to this point all worth while.
And the best part is, you're roller skating throughout the entire level.

Jetset575 I know. Its hard to find people who appriciate good music.

It truly is, now days. I consider myself a connoisseur, so that's why I usually have such high standards.

Oh Look it's Pac-man's version of Crash's Road to Nowhere.
This is a nice comparison.
True they are similar map too
lmao yes
I listen to this every Halloween 👻🎃🧙♂️🧟♂️💀
Stand back, I'm going Halloween mode!
LOVED this game. Wish there was HD remaster!
They made a remaster for the first one and it’s coming out this summer called pac man world re-pac, hopefully they do the second one ^_^
@@Absolutionoflight if they do, I'm buying it
@@huzayfakhan9222 The first remaster is really good... Imagine if they remade the second one...
0:31-0:49 is life ❤❤
Kinda reminds me. Of the Antasma Music from Mario and Luigi Dream Team.
+Noah & Toad HOLY CRAP i never made that correlation but you're totally right!!!
I always liked 0:00 - 0:06
Reminds me of dark skies from castle crashers ost
My fav aswell, that type of music
By far the most frustrating yet fun level of this game
This randomly popped into my head months ago and I couldn't figure out where in my childhood it was from until now. Such a memorable OST.
If I were a superhero I would be named :
Haunted Night Warrior
And this it would be my theme
^^^ 🔥🔥🔥 ^^^
Cool
These levels were fun
Much easier than the Water levels
I wouldn't know...
because I never got past flippin Clyde.
fieryglaceon Understandable. Good lord that boss was one heck of a difficulty spike.
@@fieryglaceon4973 i did, but then i had to go to bed-
Yea the pac submarine level felt like it was forever
I agree
All video game music is underrated.
Halloween has come once again.....
This is my favorite level of the game and it's perfect for Halloween 🎃
This comes in at #3 among my top favorites. This sets a perfect mood for Haloween time. It sounds like another one of those big hits. It gets your adrenaline going.
I know it's been 13 years since you left this comment but I hope life is treating you well
I just bought a PS2 so I could play some old games that I still have, and I had a complete nostalgic breakdown when I came across this game. I can't wait to finish it, and play some Pac-Mania
Pac-Mania Was the reason I put another 20 hours into the playtime for this game.
Same! I had it for the Ps2, and then I got it on the GameCube
yes
lmao same
I remember dying a lot of times on this level I do miss this game though
Really wanting Pac-Man World 4 right now.
I remember getting scared as a kid the first time i played this level. The initial wolf howl and clap of thunder were loud enough to get me to jump. Best track in the game by far though.
Prefect 4 any haunted house❤
I loved this level, it was kind of hard at first but still fun and the music is really good. and listening to it now gives me so much nostalgia!

Pac Man you missed the fruit, you missed the *crash* NEVERMIND, KEEP MOVING, GOGOGOGOGO
Nah...now I really want to play my game again...it's been YEARS since I last played it, and this song was one of my favorites of this game :3
omg this level was a nightmare to get 100% But the last level of this world was all rage after rage.
that fucking tree..
I never beat the last level because I didn't know where to go and I kept falling. Even with the checkpoints, It was so hard to get everything in that level.
Yeah. I also hate that tree
I always have this song in the back of my head
Still love the Ghost Island themes. So catchy
Getting 100% here is hell
At 0.5 speed, This sounds like Reggae
Pretty sure that's what Night Crawling is too
My absolutely favorite song from the entire game, without a doubt.
This level gave me the weirdest dreams. Not scary ones but like I was actually Pac Man running through a weird maze on logs
the deep “oooo” really made this pop out
This music is suitable for tonight's storm...
I remember being scared of hearing this soundtrack
Suddenly, _rollerblades!_ :3
Best moment , 1:14
I loved whistling along with these last levels.. but the board walk skating was soooo much more fun than the ice skating! I still whistle along with it now as I listen to it.. lolzz gotta love the ADRENALINE RUSH!
My favorite level
This has GOT to be the second hardest level, second only to Clyde's house of fun.
Anyone listening to this on Halloween 2020?? I am :) it’s the perfect creepy vibe!
@TheSuperyoshi101
I wanted the tokens for the museum so damn bad! But hell no am I going out to VOLCANO levels for tokens. Its like your asking me to go to hell.
I wish this soundtrack was in or at hebbie jebbies
Happy Belated Halloween
I should be Pac-Man on roller skates for Halloween this year.
This and the ghost castle themes from Sonic Heroes go hard for the same reasons lol
My favorite song and level from the game!
I swear everything was fun until you decide to 100% complete this level; ABSOLUTE nightmare.
Perfect for Halloween.

Gah! This level was so fun! The music is fantastic!
Congratulations you made it to hell now die here as you try to 100% one level in this area
(goofy ah laugh)
Real
Here in 2018 I came back to this and thought that holy heck this would have worked perfectly in Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment as well as the abandoned resort in Celeste
I LOVE this level. Makes good halloween music.
This level was HARD. I mean HARD! Not NES Hard, but hard nonetheless.
You want NES hard? Try and 100% the Ocean and Ghost Island levels.
papershadow69 Took me several tries and caused lots of rage. Thats how I busted one of my Gamecube controllers.
Mega Chills I cannot stand Haunted Boardwalk for that. If it wasn't for the music, I'd have gone nuts.
papershadow69 Uhh, is it a miracle I actually didn't have a hard time with the ghost island levels? The only level that caused me a bit of frustration was the submarine one

Someone made a remix for Sonic Mania : The Misfits Pack.

I remember I always hated this mission. This and the one where you are on ice skates. Goddamn how difficult it was to 100% those two.
thanks so much for this upload!!!
Lordy I had tons of problems on the ENTIRETY of Ghost Island and the Volcano.
Yeah. In fact, I remember this game to be pretty difficult in general.
i got lost in the island and volcano once
you're not alone, soo many lives lost
Yep. That's when the game decided to turn it up to 11.
Night Crawling was actually pretty easy I think
its that time of the year so lets into this babyyy

Lmao I would always stand still in the beginning and just listen to the song 😂, it's still my favorite track from the ost.
Andrew Garcia i just turned the sound effects off and have the music at 100
Freaking amazing!

fast paced and creepy great Halloween msuic though! Nice job!
