Quick update! Do not rince in water because it damage the blade and shorten the lifespan of the blade, it also cause skin irritation. Just use a soft brush to clean it and tap it gently against the sink to clear it.
Thanks for the video comparison, I am currently using a supermarket own brand foil shaver, of which I'm getting good results, the flat hairs that it cannot get, I am seeing that the top line shavers may not fair any better.
Yeah, i picked the braun because it had good reviews but i've probably spent more on replacement foils that it's worth, cheap one seems to shave better regardless so far, not sure about longevity but as the whole unit is less than half the price o just a new braun foil, and replacement foils for the cheap one are avaliable for it around 4 usd, it seems like a no brainer. plus the wall plug is a pain in the ass.
I got mine recently and have to say I was shocked how good it shaved as you described, I'm someone who tried electric shaver and gave up on it and normal shaving blade cut and hurt because facial hair are too hard. I notice they were no silicone to seal the port which worry me every time I rince the device not splash any water there. Did you see the S600 version?
Yes i saw it, i want to get one of those to review too, just this little one has served me well, i'm not in a rush to get it. I don't rinse mine with water, you could just take the head off and rinse that out, let it dry. honestly i don't take good care of my foils, i just use them until they stop working well, then chuck a new head on it since they are fairly cheap if you buy a pack. if you use shaver oil etc, they will last better
Dude. I am very disappointed with your review. I have the braun 7 but I was looking for an alternative as the foil has jagged holes in it. This s100 I ordered via your affiliate link is gutless and a waste of money.
Nah i disagree. i've been using it for months, it shaves better, the foils are cheaper and last longer, more convenient with USBC charging, and it has a high review on aliexpress (basically higher than any aggregate review on the braun) Disagree if you like, i still love this shaver and friends i've recommended it to also agree.
By the way dude, i spend far more than i make on affiliates to make the reviews. i buy products i like, and review the ones i find useful. my goal is to save people from getting ripped off on products with high mark ups. i just add the affiliate links because why not, it allows me to review a couple extra products every now and then, basically my priority is trying to help people find affordable products. 👌👌
