Ons Jabeur is a Tunisian professional tennis player. In 2021, she entered the top 10 ratings, and it was the time when she told that her goals are a lot bigger. She said, "This is a dream coming true. This is something that I've been wanting. I always wanted to get there, to be No. 1 in the world." Now, on June 27th, 2022, she has been ranked as high as world No. 2 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Moreover, Jabeur is Tunisia's current No. 1 player and the highest-ranked African and Arab tennis player in WTA and ATP history. She has won three WTA Tour singles titles, as well as 11 ITF Women's Circuit singles titles and one doubles title. She was on the verge of winning her first Grand Slam title at the US Open when she was defeated by Iga Witek. Her hard work is not going unnoticed as there are various tennis players who have appreciated her.

I think Ons will be world number1 only Swiatek retired early like Barty or Swiatek is injured in long term. If everyone wants me to be honest.
she'll be number 1 surely next years because Ons won't have any wimbeldon, roland garros or Australia open points to defend :))
Do you think Swiatek will lose in the first round of every tournaments ? and do you also think she is not able to defend any champions? She did once in Rome this year. With her playing and more experience she is gaining , she will be more advanced. Ons is 27 or 28 years old but Iga is just 21 years old. Iga is still not even in the peak age of a player. Like I said if she doesn’t have any long term injury, no one can gain the points to take her no.1 crown easily.
