HOW TO GET A NISSAN SHIFTER OUT OF PARK ( AUTOMATIC OR CVT )

just started having this issue on my 18 Altima. the manuel says if battery low it can cause this issue but my old skool experience was to look at brake switch. i need a small flat head to keep in car to maniel release the shifter like how u shoeed in video. thanks alot for the upload.

My woman spilled a root beer float all over her shifter she had the same issue w her 2016 rogue i took wd-40 with the straw and sprayed it in the space around the shifter button and it came loose right away

Currently I'm stuck and my 2018 Nissan Versa will not come out of park. I see the shift lock but I can't get the cap off☹️. Also is this a sign that my transmission is going bad?

My Nissan 1999e50 has a column shift it’s stuck in park but if I turn ignition key back to 1 after starting vehicle it comes out of park but obviously turning ignition key back shuts engine off
