Necromunda doesn't Generally advance forward in time like the normal 40k is doing now right? Still in that "stagnant stalemate against the horrors of the future" theme but on the same several theoretical decades scale I think? Necromunda always has such unique models
By the mighty, massive megapolis that is Terra, Necromunda's populace has got to be the most indulgently embellished at least outside of the home system of humanity. This planet is packed! Naturally, with all of these intersecting interests, much less factions and sides, the logos, siguls and standards are just as numerous. Although of course the clan clashes personify colour and character to the setting, the cornucopia assemblage of the bounty hunters' complements could be more interesting to follow...via the crossing of those clan-identity boundaries. Each and every one of those example Venator models displayed here after 4:00 is fascinating to look at and distinct. Kria especially looks like an Amazon queen of Lustria, transplanted. Likewise, Gor Halfhorn appears and is named as though he was dropped on Necromunda from North of the Sea of Claws. Ortrumm 8-8 is horrifyingly, inhumanly (and inhumanely) grotesque yet intriguing in its own anecdote. Its name typically reminds me of droid bounty hunter IG-88 from The Empire Strikes Back; I wonder if that's an homage. I definitely and immediately liked the mere inclusion of the Ironhead Prospector bounty hunter among their ranks, Grendl Grendlsen. That obvious and relatable Not-Squat going independent as one of them proudly, easily assimilates the long-denied space dwarfs concept into another popular aspect of 40k ultimately more comfortably than any generic football-player Leaguers for Votann do. The Janus clan, composed of clones and bearing a namesake for a two-faced classical legend, had to have been conceived to be ironic. The Red Brothers and Hammer of Psykers simply seem to be death squads or hit teams rather than groups of bounty hunters. Stage-theatrical, even Harlequin-reminiscent, masque masks and costume-uniforms worn by the pair shown around 6:45 are stand-out images among such a rich collection of personalities. Belladonna looked like she's mass-majority made of machinery so she wouldn't have had much to fear from zombies. Also, I just can't leave unmentioned how aesthetically impressive Phaetos' belt-buckle-almost-codpiece of a decapitated, desiccated head is. Yeah. 40K, and none other can stand next to 40K. I still wonder in what way that Eyros Slagmist character is “not quite human”. Along with the five further-detailed bunters and the rest stuffed in here, this has been another fine display of characters that did surpass my expectations, GDN. If ever I may feel any recognition to Warhammer's breadth of creativity, you bring up something or somebody (or twenty) to surprise me with. Thank you very much once again for another entertaining entry in your Necromunda series for this week, Narrator. Be well, take care, stay awesome and the Emperor protects.

It actually did advance through the Aranthian Succession books. I'll be narrating at least the first one in the future.
