That or just walk away from the Glass Coffin - the door was still open after all.
As for which other trap I'd want to be in - Shotgun Carousel, no question. The first woman has the right idea easily - tell William something that will say,"I should live because I have people that care about me and will suffer from me dying", where William has already met these people and likely already has a relationship with some of them. This could be a "bringing your kids to the office" situation or a "my husband who you watch the Super Bowl with" type ideas. This will make it a lot more likely William will give a damn about them and you enough to use one of the two "save" options to save your life.
And this will be a trick that only works once, but you only need it to work the first time to survive! For the second "save", I'd consider using my company loyalty to get him to save me - maybe point out how you got him the cake for his B-Day or something.
If you do get killed, (since 100% 4 out of 6 death rate, minimum) - at least, it's one of the quicker Saw deaths! The Journalist is Charles by the way, super fitting name for a journalist.

The three needles in Jigsaw. She KNEW the right answer, but even if she didn't:
Squeeze one from from needle A onto your finger. If it burns, inject the other two. If it doesn't inject it, it's either the cure or the water.
Repeat until you have injected the two that are not acid. Worst case scenario is a sore finger.

This reminds me, I was in an actual needle death-trap myself last week (really, but I'm being dramatic but also REALLY). I'm diabetic but I'm type 3c. It's like type 1 in that it's nothing to do with weight or diet, but when your blood sugar gets very low in type 1, your pancreas sending signals to your liver to release emergency glucose which gives you a safety net. In type 3c your whole pancreas has failed and this doesn't happen, so your blood sugar can get life-threatening low very easily. So I get an ultra-rapid-acting glucose pen as well as an insulin pen.
My pharmacist fucked up which was which with my latest prescription. So my blood sugar was very high, I inject a fairly large dose of insulin from the insulin pen...and wake up in ICU because they'd filled the INSULIN pen with the GLUCOSE.
I'm fine and also not suing because it was obviously a genuine mistake (and I don't live in the US, so hospital stays etc are free here so no need to sue for medical costs as there were none) but was scary!

My guess for the last one, and I'm surprised you didn't put it on this list, was Rigg's test. All he had to do was stay home. Literally if he just walked away and didn't participate all of those people could have lived, including him.

That was my guess too, but I guess to be fair it isn't a trap he was stuck in. Though some of the trap they pick were just fractions of the test Jigsaw gave so I'm not sure if they should be counted as traps or not.

    • @chibiwolf1005
      @chibiwolf1005 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

@@ExodaCrown I tend to count each person being tested (Rigg, Bobby Dagen, Slow Ass Muthafuckin' Jeff) because they go through several trials where they fail time and time again, as well as the individual traps for each person, because each victim is still in their own trap, even if they don't have the possibility to save themselves and have to rely on someone else. For example, of course we count the Fatal Five's tests because they have to figure the traps out themselves. But no one has ever claimed that The Rack wasn't a trap just because Timothy had to rely on someone else/Jeff to save him. So I just count all of them for each person.

The main thing i hated about the mausoleum trap was the lack of a tape 🤣 i know that it would defeat the point of the see no evil, speak no evil.... but its kinda one of the main features of a trap is having a tape to give you a FRAGMENT of context to what to do :')

Strahm’s box trap was not easy. It was unwinnable actually. Strahm’s first trap was unbeatable too (except for what Strahm did). If Strahm got inside the box Hoffman had him trapped. By Strahm's Box Trap I trust you mean the Glass Coffin...
You are in fact wrong, At least to a point... Hoffamn KNEW that Strahm would NEVER LET GO, HE WOULD BE THE BEST POLICE OFFICER HE COULD BE... That Strahm was Obsessed with bringing down Jigsaw and anyone related to it... So yes, it was 100% rigged in favour of Hoffman!
BUT - What if he did somehow get Strahm to listen... Strahm would be SCREWED... he could not go back to Police and report Hoffamn as Hoffman had already done everything to blacken his name... It was geared towards enslaving Strahm... Peter Strahm would have no other choice but to become Hoffman's Disciple! It was all geared towards either getting Strahm into the "Jigsaw Fold" or killing him...
... In either case, Peter Strahm would end up a LOSER, but at least in one situation he would have lived!

One thing people seem to forget about the public execution trap is that they aren’t just in there because there was a love triangle. Jigsaw says at the start “her material needs have pushed you to break the law” so it isn’t that they have been cheated on it’s that they most likely stole from stores to please her. Which is still a bit of a stretch for them to be in a trap but it’s more of a reason than just being in a love triangle

The deck was not stacked in her favor. Also, the easiest trap to survive would have to be Daniel Matthew's trap in Saw 2. Damn I was really expecting number one to be Amanda’s reverse bear trap, or at least in the top 3, cuz that definitely seems like one of the easiest traps in the franchise imo, I mean all she had to do was cut a key outa someone else’s stomach not having to physically harm herself in anyway, I mean sure having to cut someone open would be psychologically scaring, but tbf all of jigsaw’s traps are psychologically scaring for the survivors lol

Well I don't agree about the glass coffin because why would Hoffman *ever* let Strahm live? He's already been rigging games and Strahm was literally put in an unbeatable trap at the start of the movie so why would it not be the same here? He either gets crushed or gets captured by Hoffman, there's no winning imo. Imagine if he had gotten in, then Hoffman shows up and fills that coffin with water and we would all call him stupid for ever thinking that any trap would be fair when he's literally already been placed in an unbeatable trap before. Sure, he could have chosen not to push forward but once he did that I think Hoffman would try to eliminate Strahm anyway he could. To me, this wasn't an easy trap, it was an inescapable one.

The Pig Vat for sure is one of the easiest. And it's not even the participant's life that's on the line for it, but the participant is the problem! There's slow as molasses, and then there's Slow Ass Mothafuckin Jeff! I may be pretty slow myself due to a pain in my leg, but even a man on crutches could do what was required of the trap. I am aware that the context does give it some emotional difficulty because Jeff needs to use his deceased son's toys as kindling to retreive a key, while the consequence for not doing so is that the son's manslaughterer's judge is covered in disgusting pig mold. But physically, that's all Jeff needed to do! Luckily that is what he did but it took a while. I know you cared about your boy, Jeff, but no need to be a hoarder.

For example, you get in the coffin the walls closed then open up, but you are now locked in the room with no escape.
I would pick the laser trap if it was done fairly or I can be the one in the fake laser collar. Stand there and confess whatever sin? Easy, it couldn't be used against me since I was in direst when making a confession and could always say I was lying to save my own life.

I’m glad you didn’t put Amanda’s trap from saw 1 on here, everyone says that’s the easiest one but I’ve never understood that opinion. It would be extremely difficult to find a small key in someone’s guts with only minutes on the clock and the added pressure of having a reverse bear-trap on your head.
One of the easiest in my opinion is Cecil’s trap from Saw IV. All he has to do is push his face through a row of kitchen knives to headbutt a button that will release him, with no time limit. I think the cuts he would receive would but painful but still pretty superficial and much easier than losing an organ or an extremity of any kind. It’s weird because Cecil is the last character you would think Jigsaw would go easy on.

Hi guys; according to the SAW WIKI, Jigsaw himself created the trap, but it was Hoffman who used it. And there lies the problem with this trap being 'easy' in my book.
Time and time again, we hear that Hoffman has all his ducks in a row and is brilliant, so if he has set this thing up, he has a contingency plan, by your own admission of him being genious and always having a way out (not my words/idea; this is the impression you're leaving every time you talk about Hoffman).
That means that if Strahm enters the box, Hoffman has him right where he wants him to be (as Hoffman strategizes for every scenario; at least that's what a genius Jigsaw-apprentice would do), and Strahm dies. If Strahm does not enter the box, he dies as well, same rational as my previous phrase and that's what basically happens in the movie.
If Strahm enters the box before Hoffman arrives, it's fair to assume that the walls would do the same as we see in the movie, thus not killing anyone... unless Hoffman, genious as he is, devised the trap so that the walls would remain closed, trapping Strahm in the box and thus killing him. Maybe the walls uncollide after Hoffman pushes some activation button the box, who knows (I don't have the clip in front of me here, but you get the criticism I guess).
How you can state that this is the easiest trap in the entire franchise is beyond me... I know this comment (and previous comments I've left) might come across as a bit rude, but you guys are so far on the Hoffman-train that I feel that you're not even trying to be objective when talking about anything that relates to him. Besides that, love the content you're pushing out and I hope you can appreciate my comment somewhat.

Given that lamp thing was an infra lamp of course, and not an actual X-Ray machine. The reverse bear trap is literally the only fair trap in the entire franchise. Kramer had 10 movies he died after 3 and only one trap the entire series was safest. Why? Because hoffman wasnt around yet (or maybe he was idk) and Amanda, well she was the trapped one so she couldn't rig it. It was solely set up by Kramer. Amanda just had to dig up a key and unlock it. Would've been nice if every trap was this safe. They'd probably still be ungrateful to be alive. But not you, not anymore.

I said that too... And while in SAW which was supposed to be a one off she was a Victim... They did follow up with SAW II where she is revealed to be working for Jigsaw... Meaning what we see in SAW as she recalls her story is PROBABLY A LIE!!! She is an unreliable narrator!

  • @Phoenix2312
    @Phoenix2312 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The Mausoleum Trap is a nasty one... The easiest answer is DO NOTHING... But both men wake up in a panic, as you would... I had a friend some years ago showing off "Sleeper Holds" and demonstrated them on me, Left me on the floor as he walked away and those few seconds as your brain comes around - JESUS H CHRIST IT IS DISORENTING!!! When he tried showing off to my then Fiancée and later Wife (He was trying to sleep with her and failed...) - It was easier as I was in familiar surroundings and I could focus on the TV that was playing... But coming around in a seemingly silent and strange room, YOU ARE GOING TO FREAK!
It also wasn't a fair trap either... Normally a trap like that, Jigsaw would leave a TV to autoplay and tell them what's happening or at least give a hint... Give them the rules.. But no it was a tape recorder!
EDIT: The Glass Box Trap that Addison gets caught by... I still need to put the movie back on with commentary but someone else has... And that trap was actually meant for Gus! He was Embezzling funds and the the trap was supposed to represent sticking your hands in the cookie jar! The more you know... So Addison is another whose actual trap we never get to see...
EASIEST TRAP TO BEAT: I agree the Glass Coffin... But I would also add in the Reverse Bear Trap from Amanda... I know I am going to get hate saying that, but when we see what Amanda went through - It is her telling the story... While we dont know she is a Jigsaw Apprentice in SAW - As soon as she is revealed in SAW II you have to look back at what she claims happened with fresh eyes!
The chances are very high SHE LIED! She had more time, The man who she had to cut the key out of NEVER woke up... He was dead!!! She is an unreliable narrator! And given we now also have SAW X... Timeline wise... It was also most likely RIGGED in her favour! Amanda was NEVER ACTUALLY IN DANGER but we are supposed to assume she was as thats the story she tells!

I have now watched the hardest traps and now this one. I must say I’m a bit disappointed that you don’t take more into consideration of who did the traps (Kramer, Amanda or Hoffman) and who the victim were to them. Multiple of the traps are not meant to be beatable as both Amanda and Hoffman used it for their own gaining (Amanda for what’s right and wrong in her eyes and Hoffman for revenge and personal gain). As stated in other comments, some of these traps are a lose-lose situation because either Amanda or Hoffman wanted the victims to die, they were never given a fair chance unlike Kramer’s traps (not counting in Saw X traps because the movie was just weird and didn’t bring anything new to the story). Also the lack of considering the panic and tunnel vision in some of the traps (both this and the other video) was disappointing. For me, Bucket Room should be number 1 just because you can scratch the tip of your arm on one of the blades (as long as you’re steady and very careful) and you’re free to go, which would be much less damage/wounds than any of the traps you ranked higher. Also about the Magnum Trap Door.. sure we as viewers know to listen to Kramer’s tapes when it comes to details and to do as he says but for these folks, it’s their first time encountering him and don’t know if he’s actually truthful or deceiving. They might have thought that they shouldn’t use the key on the door because it could be an escape and Jigsaw didn’t want the game to end. Sure it’s stupid decision from them but sometimes you need to step out from being the logical person, sitting in the couch, watching a fictive movie and try to think from the person’s perspective with fear, panic, adrenaline, etc. which affects judgmental calls and logic thinking.

My plan for the 5 boxes it simple. It shows 4 people could clearly go in time. So one person should grab theirs, rush back so someone else can go and unlock theirs. By time they unlocked theirs, number is backing up with their key. Number 2 unlocks while number 3 gets their and number 1 gets the key for number 4 and then by this point number 2 will be able to grab the key for number 5. That'd take less time than 4 people going. It'd be easy.

I'm pretty confident that was said in the saw 2 commentary or when it broke down the traps on the special features. The box is why to high up to open it from that angle. Looks like a key hole but doesn't look like a key at all. Look at the dvd special features.

I find it odd when people mention the razor box from saw 2 being easy. Because yes, it wasn’t a necessarily difficult trap, but I don’t think people are getting the idea. The point *was* for the trap to be overlooked and not properly examined, that’s why it’s so simple.

I think the easiest trap is the ceiling cage, the opening trap of saw 3d

What about Amanda's first test. She didn't need to hurt herself, she just needed to cut the key out of her cellmate to get the reverse bear trap off

Another thing that bothers me with the razor box trap is, even if you didn't notice the key, you could get out alive so easily by just stopping to think for one second and not putting BOTH your arms in there. If you put just one you can just... push the razors upwards with your free hand, and get in and out easily with maybe one cut or two. My dad got reeally mad at this one when we watched it so it just stuck with me.

Even if every key was different, we saw four people have enough time to go up and get their keys. What they should have done was simply one person goes forward to get their key, as soon as the key is in their hand they back the fuck up so the next person can go. By time number 2 is backing up with their key in hand, 1 is free. 3 goes and gets their key and 1 smashes boxes 4 and 5 and then 1 and 2 free 4 and 5 and then everyone lives. That is the EASIEST trap if everyone just calmed down a bit, other than buckethead where like a tiny cut is enough that's technically easier.

glass coffin - easy if you trust jigsaw and get inside it. if you dont trust him and dont go inside then yes, its unbeatable.
when watching Saw 2 for the first time, i was like, ok these are thinky films, listen to what Jigsaw says.
I cant remember the exact details but when everyone wakes up he says something specific and i guessed its was something to do with whatever keyword he said. mightve been something to do with key numbers and ends up being the numbers on the back of their heads...i think

Idk about that number 1 how do you know that if he went in the box he would have been good way I see it is he wasn’t getting out of that room alive if he went in the box he would have let him there and like what happened he put Hoffman in it and got crushed so looks like a lose lose for that dude

I say the trap in saw 3 where he has to burn his son materials to save the judge is kinda easy too especially when he had other family members to get home to.

Addison's real problem was that she didn't listen to the tape at all and then when one of her hands was stuck she put the other one in instead of using her free hand to move the blades away. Then again they might not push up like they do on set

my top 3 easiest traps...... 1. Riggs Traps, yes all of them... he literally should have gone with his wife or stayed home and done nothing........ 2. what's a life worth to you trap, its 3 needles and 2 have acid in them, use your clothes to test the needles and inject the one that doesn't burn..........3. the bucket trap... literally just needed to cut yourself...........Honorable Mention.... OBIs trap... the tape couldn't have been clearer on how to get out. also, Bobby Dagens chest hook trap, he had shoes on, I would have stood on the hooks and hoisted myself up to connect the cord.

Eye trap is the easiest I think from Saw X. I’ve broken my fingers before. Though it hurts, it wasn’t as excruciating as I thought it would be. Twist the dial all the way. Over with. Fingers will likely be fine when I get a cast for my hand

The Saw 3 pig vat trap is the easiest. No physical pain, just gotta burn some old keepsakes. And you save someone else’s life on top of it.
