Im banned from Enterprise lol!! 6 years ago, I was moving to AZ from MI and didn't tell them, I did turn the vehicle in at the Enterprise in AZ!!

Kay, I used to work for a rental car company and we had people leave cars in the impound ALOT. The car would be considered stolen until they figure out where it is. Companies usually have trackers on cars now. They could've run her card for the amount to get the car back if she didn't cancel her card or the rental agency would have just paid themselves. If it's enterprise they would have had a local agent go get the car back. They could have reported Wrong to the credit bureau and put her on a Do Not Rent List. Either way she most likely wasn't able to rent a car with them again and best believe they were blowing her phone UP about that car.
I’d definitely help with the car situation IF she came at me the right way - the way that trip went, I’m ubering to the airport, get home safe yall 🙂↔️🤣

I don’t think y’all are obligated to pay for the fact that she got the car towed, especially bc she went off to do her own thing in the rental at the time it got towed.
I completely agree with you Kay, she got the car towed, and it is her responsibility alone.
Dang I got so invested I’ve done commented like 5 times lol, but yes that rental will be charged to her card and most rental companies will have a $300 deposit fee that you’ll get back if there is no damage or issues with the rental being returned so that would be gone and they could charge her for the fee of getting the rental out of the lot. Also they’ll probably ban her from renting again. Now if they charge her and the money isn’t in there they will come after her in court for those fees.
Edit: If for any reason they can’t find the rental then yes they can charge her the full amount of the rental. That’s why I always get the damage waiver for $30 extra a day because I’m pretty sure it covers everything. At least with enterprise. It’s 100% worth it!
I live in near Atlanta, but we know that we always take Ubers because of the limited parking and towing situation. I agree with you. SHE took the rental to get food and parked illegally and YES there are hella signs everywhere on no parking or you get towed. She made the mistake so she should pay.
My girls went to Miami and I parked in an after hours spot so we got a ticket. I paid for that because my friends were in line at the club and my other friend was on the sidewalk while I parked. Again, my fault I paid. Point blank period.

Yeah the towing fee problem would definitely depend on the circumstances and how close I am with the person that got it towed. But in your situation Kay, you weren’t friends with the person that got it towed, you weren’t included in the purchasing of the rental, and you weren’t there when it got towed so I’m with you on the issue.
I think if one person damaged a rental or got it towed they should pay. It's no different than a car accident if that person caused it.
I agree! She got the car towed, she should be responsible to pay the tow fees. And the fact that had she just went to McDonald's like she said she was, that probably wouldn't have happened.

my rental got towed last summer (parked in handicapped) & I tried to get it out but the tow company wouldn’t let me bc I wasn’t the owner of the vehicle. So I informed the rental company and they just charged me for the amount of days I had the rental, they went and got the rental out eventually & they had to foot the bill not me. didn’t get charged extra, still got my deposit back, didn’t go on my credit, and enterprise got their car back. it was a win
She was definitely responsible for the rental, she left and got food instead of just chilling and ordering with everybody else. Ignored yall at that, then when she got it towed she wanted help. Aht aht, I would’ve been on the next flight too especially since yall weren’t even friends

I accidentally broke a glass at an Airbnb, and I ALONE replaced that glass! And I didn’t have an issue with replacing something I broke… Luckily it was a water goblet from Dollar Tree… 😅

It's crazy, I watched parts 1-3 two weeks ago. Caught part 4 two hours after it was posted. Pleasantly surprised to see the final part while looking for something to watch while I work. It genuinely did NOT feel drawn out. Great series and storytelling! Thanks for sharing it with us.
