I played BF Vietnam and then moved into this one when it came out, so much time spent loading C4 on the helis waiting for people to jump in them and then hitting the boom button. It's so sad where the Battelfield franchise has ended up.... just being a COD clone. I guess that's why I enjoyt Hell Let Loose the most, it reminds me of this game the most.
I miss this game so much!!! I spent an embarrassing amount of hrs sniping on Karkand infantry only servers. IMO, I was one of the best snipers back in the day. Most rounds I would end up being #1 on the server. I played a lot of medic too… G36E is for noobs. Ak and M16 all day long
Does BF2 Multiplayer work in the same manner as BF1942's (i.e: master multiplayer patch)? If so, where does one find that patch? I want to be able to play yet another Refractor Engine game.

Easter eggs.. no. But plenty of hiding spots if you drop a commander supply box you can jump to buildings you wouldnt ordinarily be able to get to.

Bf2 had no fog cheats, aimbots, wallhacks but it wasnt very often and admins usually banned them pretty fast
