me and my family just came back from the iberostar rose hall suites in jamacia today. it was awsome and i loved it soooo much. the lazy river was great, me ana my mom would run backwards through it, thanks for putting this on.
yeah me and my girlfriend stayed at the Holiday inn sunspree! It was good for the price, but we got a chance to see this the iberostar and the Rio. I think after seeing this view of the lazy river we will be staying at one of those two resorts. Jamaica is what u make it.... We had a great time, and when our new child is at least one, we are going back! iRiE moN!
@cdnbrowngirl I agree, if you can swing it, I would stay at the Suites. You will have more options, more facilities, more beach, more dining options, etc.
@Taichimd OK, we just got back from the Hilton Rose Hall, and having seen their lazy river now, I will agree with you! The area surrounding their lazy river is so lush! As far as other resort amenities go though, I prefer the Iberostar in terms of beach, other pools, food choices, hotel rooms, bar service, etc. I posted a video of the Rose Hall Lazy River too for those who want to compare.
cdnbrowngirl, Tis is the Iberostar Rose Hall SUITES. The beach is the next resort down the beach. At the Beach resort you will not have access to the lazy river. If you are a guest of the Suites, you can access both the Beach and Suites resorts. Both the Beach and Suites allow children. The Grand does not.
@ddfilm92 Indeed it was. We took turns playing "tug boat" pulling each other around it in the dead spots. I would love to see them add a few jets and fix it. It would be an excellent lazy river if they would keep it moving.
@cdnbrowngirl So glad you loved it and hope to return! How did you get bumped up on the lazy river? Did you stay at the Suites or the Grand? Were you happy with your choice?
@vanabannana omg it was amazing best ever we hope to go again this yr, felt like royalty there, had caviare for the first time too lol this place is first class all the way only thing i didn't like was the lazy river got a little bumped up there but I'll live
@ddfilm92 We just returned from the Hilton Rose Hall, and if you like lazy rivers like I do, you should check it out! The current was MUCH better and the surroundings were so lush! I posted a video!
We are going for our honeymoon. Which would you perfer for a young couple (30's), Grand or Suites? I'm a little afraid that the Grand will b on the boring side with a bunch of old people? What r your thoughts on the Grand? And how far of a walk will it b from the Grand to the Suites (Are they linked or do you have to walk on the beach to get the Suite)?
Not as good as the one at Hilton Rose Hall. It's more secluded. It looks like you're in a fish bowl here; people from the hotel can watch you like a goldfish. Hilton Rose Hall rocks.

Looks like both places are terrific. We are going to the Hilton Rose Hall in February. Can't wait.
