I thought it was an interesting strategy when inbounding by passing to Battle in the backcourt, and I think they did that twice in the 2nd half. The first time he attacked and they called the foul before his shot. The second time WSU defended better so he backed out and and then drove against the mismatch and didn't get a foul call on his shot at the rim.
I would be interested to hear your comments on what I believe is a concerning trend. I believe that in many of the Zags games they don’t close it out, both in the losses and in the wins. This seems to happen even when the rotation players are still in the game at the end. Good example was the WSU game where they were ahead by 22 points with a few minutes left and finished ahead by 13 and the rotation players were still in the game. Also, in KenPom, the defense has dropped off in just the last two games. Prior to San Diego, the defense in Ken Pom was hovering around #20, and now two games later the defense is ranked #37. Ike's spin move for a dunk was a thing of beauty!
Loved seeing Hickman and Stromer step up when we needed them. Gonna need to keep them involved for big games.
Good win, great show Andy
Great program!

WSU has been plagued by injuries. Curious how the next time they play will be
These zags are not a team. They are ending the streak of NCAA tournament bids
