- Hello friends, Today I will show you my picks from the new Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks that Chanel released for their Spring 2023 makeup campaign. I purchased five Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks in 46 Magnétique, 48 Ardente, 60 Intemporelle, 62 Libre and Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in 72 Mystérieuse. I also purchased the new Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Body cream. I also wanted to share my thoughts on the new N 1 de Chanel Revitalizing Rich cream. It feels very pleasant on the skin. The consistency is thicker than the original cream.

I love that lipstick color on you! Thank you for these reviews. I am always most tempted by spring makeup launches but I am trying to be very careful and only pick the most special peices that I will actually use. I am on an eyeshadow no-buy, but lipstick is my favorite product and I also love blush, so I will be looking for your reviews as the new products arrive.

I have bought three of the new Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks by Chanel, #45, #60, and #69. I love all of them, and it was great to have a bright pink lipstick 💄 like #45 again. It is such a perk me up color with someone who has a fair skin tone with dark hair. I am also looking forward to the other spring releases. Thank you, thank you for sharing with us, Angela! I bought #64 and really enjoy it. I’m fair but not as fair as Angela and agree it leans a little red on me. Sort of a muted rosy red. After seeing the swatches I’m considering #60 & 62. I also think #53 Inspirante looks beautiful online but waiting for someone to swatch.😊
Thank you Angela! I had ordered 45 & 48 but for some reason Chanel canceled my order so I took it as a sign to wait until the Spring release and maybe buy one or two then. I still am loving the looks of those two lipsticks, I think a bright lipstick for this summer is what will be fashionable. Just my guess 😅😂

I purchased and already received 51, 63, 64 and waiting to receive 46 and 47. I love Velvet formula! Unfortunately to me I was lazy to stop by boutique and try all colors before purchase, I checked some video with swathes but on my light medium skin tone all lipsticks what I bought looks totally different :) it’s ok I still loved :)…i really like 63 and 64 even it looks on my lips exactly the same, and 51 on me more reddish brown … beautiful neutral color for every day :) I’m still very interested on 45 intense but I think I definitely need to see it in real before purchase
Hello Alenka :) It's very interesting how the colors change on different skin tones. I was amazed to see the colors in store. Since you have medium skin tone I would highly suggest you try 45 in store. I have fallen in love with the way this color looked on medium skin tone. So it's worth seeing in in person. Does anyone happen to know if the vitalumiere aqua foundation is being discontinued? I've been waiting over a month to buy shade 40, on their site and Ulta. Ulta grayed out the stock notification option 🤔
Chanel had plans to reformulate Vitalumiere aqua a couple of years ago. Then it got pushed back and I suppose they are finally going to do it. But this is not confirmed information. I know they were working on a reformulation but I don't know if they are ready. xoxo
At least in the US, those new palettes and blushes that was supposed to be February are pushed to April launch, I think!
Hi dear Angela, I’m taking a note for 64, looks beautiful. I haven’t tried this formula from Chanel before, how does it compare to Guerlain’s matte lipsticks that I absolutely love, in terms of comfort, fragrance, longevity? 😘

Hi Dora :) The formula is very similar to Guerlain's matte formula. I would say that with the latest matte lipsticks from Guerlain (the ones that they released for Holiday 2022 - they are super long lasting on me. So if I compare the latest Guerlain matte lipsticks to Chanel I would say that Guerlain are a little more long lasting. But in terms of how they feel on the lips - they are very similar. Hi Lisa, As far as I know Chanel had plans to reformulate some of their older foundations like Vitalumiere aqua but then it got pushed back in time... I am not sure what is happening now but I will ask and I will post an update in the community tab if I learn something. Overall, in Europe Chanel's beauty boutiques are not very well informed about new launches. After the lock downs their training became online and this had a negative effect. The consultants now have little to no information about upcoming changes. But again I will ask. Have a great day :) xoxo

Hi Angela, is Chanel rouge allure velvet lipstick in First light got discontinued? I dont see it anymore nowhere 😳😂 any of new lipstick shades could be similar to it.i have one back up, but after that …. Its my favorite. I have many red lipsticks, and constantly searching for another, but honestly, no need to waste money, First Light, well on me, no other lipsticks can compete😜 Have a blessed day🙏🧡
Hi Giedre :) Initially First light used to be limited edition, then Chanel kept it as part of the permanent line. But I don't have information if it's being discontinued right now. I hope not. It's one of the more extraordinary reds of Chanel and one of the iconic creations of Lucia Pica for Chanel. xoxo

Any word on the Tweed Blushes? Will they come to department stores or only Chanel boutiques?
Hi Camellia, if you are based in Europe check you Chanel boutique or counter. The tweed blushes are available since December in some European countries. Now most of the shades are sold out. They are online and boutique exclusive. They will not be released in stores. For the USA - I don't have information. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday The tweed blushes don't show up at the US website except in an area they call eshop where they seem to have one shade in Singapore. I was thinking they wouldn't show up in our department stores and perhaps they are in boutiques but they don't have a boutique in the Seattle area except in the Downtown Seattle Nordstrom but they don't sell makeup there so I guess I missed out. Oh well, lots of other nice things to choose from. Thanks so much for ending the mystery! By the way, you are drop dead gorgeous!
