    Hello friends, try this minimalistic technique to cover dark circles and let me know how it works :) Also don't miss my next video where I will share with you long term solutions to diminish dark circles and to slow down aging. xoxo

    This is the best video I've seen on realistic undereye concealing. Everyone on social media recommends huge swipes of full coverage concealer and that always looks worse. Thin layers, color correcting, hydration, and distraction are always better. Thank you!

    Thanks for mentioning that we can use foundation instead of concealer. I find concealer drying. Since I have rather good skin, I like thin foundation. Most of the problems I deal with are redness and a little puffiness. What makes it tricky is that most of the problems are on my left side and only there (strange, I know). I will try the Channel one day (when I'm rich) b/c they discontinued my favourite Clinique Superbalance (waterbased) foundation, but for now I still have some. Thanks for the tips. They're great.

    Hi Angela! I have the Sisley concealer and I think is a very good one (it doesn’t crease, is long lasting and it looks natural and beautiful with a very good coverage for most people). But soon after I bought it I had to buy a very hydrating eye cream because the eye cream I was using did not provide enough hydration. If your skin under eye is dry like mine and you don’t use a proper eye cream this concealer will look very bad no matter how much you apply.
    Thanks for sharing! :)

    I loved the light coverage techniques that were shown, Angela! I also think Chanel’s water fresh tint is a very versatile product. It also works well as a primer all over the face,too. When your skin is well moisturized and not oily that is what does the trick after all. Thank you, thank you for sharing as always, Angela! I hope Angela and all of you have a great day! 🙆🏻‍♀️👍🏻🤩🍀❤️💝💕

    Hi Angela, thanks for the tips. I’m assuming that you are wearing an SPF before addressing your makeup. It does get harder and harder as you age - I’m 66 - to cover under eye darkness and to keep the area sufficiently moisturized. I have the Sisley concealer in a peachy tone, but decided to try the tinted moisturizer in Light. I’ve had some success using the Chanel Sublimage for under eyes, but we can all agree that the jar is off putting. I think as we age, the correct approach is less is more. I have to make better use of my beauty sponges. Thanks again.

    Angela great tips! I agree with most, only for my particular dark circles if I don't get the rest needed, I do need full coverage concealer however in very small amounts like you demonstrated. Great tip on blush and lipstick to distract!

    At 62 it's a sad battle under the eyes small wrinkles and dark circles and dryness
    Vitamin K is great for bruising and the blue purple coloring
    I Lao take my vit c under eye and use a retinaldyhyde ginseng evening eye cream . Definitely less is better
    I've heard several derms talk about food choices which is a rabbit hole I need to dive into. Best wishes for a lovely weekend

    Thank you for a great video! I have a question, my mother is 90, never been much in the sun and is now at a nursing home. She has never used any make up or creams. I want to take care of her thin skin in the face and around the eyes. What do you recommend? The air is dry and very warm in the nursing home, in Norway. Thank you!

      I am not an expert, I am young but have very thin skin and very dry and sensitive skin. Avene’ has a sensitive skin line, I wear it right under my eyes. I prefer the cream but you may like the balm for her.

    Hi Angie. Not new to your channel (as you know). Glad to be back. I’m enjoying more and more embracing a “less is more look”. I use your skin care principles as I used in your very helpful course. I wonder (as far as makeup goes) could you help me find the new Chanel face palette? I’m interested in finding the tendress palette. I think it’s 957. I’ve asked in Australia but the SAs don’t even know they’re getting any such thing, let alone supplying it. I’d be happy to buy from Europe. Could you help me in any way? I’m really really keen in this case.

    Hello Angela. Love love this video.I don’t have puffy under eye but ai do have dark circles. Not under my eyes but in the inner corner next to my nose and boy are they dark. They dark blue and purple. I do use concealer with a peach undertone but nothing thick or heavy. Normally I use one from G Armani. But my favorite is one from YSL. Vey light . I try not to powder there. But would love your advice. Take care 🥰🥰🥰🥰

      Hi Gloria :) I am starting to develop the same darkness in the inner corners of my eyes. Have you tried to apply vitamin E on the dark places. It seems to work for me. There was a serum from Alpha H vitamin E that I liked. I will have a look at it and will send you a message. xoxo

    • @Frenchforaday
      @Frenchforaday  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Alexia :) For the concealer I used the original Beauty Blender sponge. You can see it here: go.shopmy.us/p-1053882 They come in all different shades. This is my favorite sponge applicator. For the powder (the black one) I used Givenchy sponge that I received as a gift with purchase from Givenchy. Thank you so much for watching my video! xoxo

    What is the difference between the Chanel Water Fresh Complexion Touch and the Water Fresh Tint? I want to try one of these products after seeing your demo. Maybe the water blush, too. Very interesting texture!

    • @Frenchforaday
      @Frenchforaday  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello again :) The complexion touch has higher coverage. You can see a closeup of the texture in my review. After using the complexion touch and the water fresh tint for a long time I can say with confidence that I prefer the water fresh tint. The complexion touch doesn't look as flawless on my skin. When Chanel released the Water Fresh tint it became instant favorite of so many people. But there were some customers that were asking for the same water based product but with a higher coverage. So Chanel created the complexion touch with the intention to be used more like a concealer. Both are water based. The only difference is the amount of coverage. The water fresh ting contains 70% water and the complexion touch has approximately 60% water. Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/1NHKkL6yUtc/w-d-xo.html Here I compare different Chanel foundations including the water fresh ting and the complexion touch. xoxo

    I have very dark hereditary under eye circles. And ageing skin. I always make sure I use some caffeine creme and a very good eye moisturiser. And then I either use the Sisley concealer when wearing foundation or even when not wearing one. There is 1 foundation that is allowed under my eyes and that is the Westman Atelier Drops. Even the Sisley Teint does not go under my eyes. Just the WA Drops as they are very moisturising. Most of the concealers I have tried do not work under my eyes, unfortunately.

    • @Frenchforaday
      @Frenchforaday  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Adellaide :) Thank you so much for sharing your tips. It's very useful to know what worked for you. If you enjoy the WA drops then you can try adding a drop of face oil into our foundations. This usually works very well for me when my skin is dehydrated or not smooth. It somehow gives me a very glowy and smooth finish. I thought I would share this trick with you. It works for the whole face for me. xoxo

    Hello dear.
    My compliments For this video.I would like to add one popular mistake that ladies does often.They apply to little,just a drop won’t cover anything😀
    And also they forget the inside corner,the darkest spot .
