We had one of those among our two buses, at the driving school where I passed my bus license a few years ago-it was getting a bit noisy as it was 15 years old and is of an antiquated design compared to modern buses but daaaaamn...that DAF engine was a rocket, you really felt the 380 hps ! These also have very good suspensions as they were made for lines and touring-they were my favorite as a passenger. They also steered really well-when I had to drive on the other bus (Iveco) instead I felt like I was driving a fat old bird lmao, much less power and heavier steering xD
I wish i had a go at driving coaches when i had the opportunity, i passed my D1 licence about 10 years ago but i wish i went for the D licence even though i wouldnt really need it. I love the Bova Coach, one of my favourites Nice drive.

Yes, I do. I drive Tourismo from monday this week but to be honest Crossway is little bit better for me. Tourismo has small engine defect not cooperating with computer properly. Has no power especially for driving uphill. Anyway Tourismo is more comfortable than Iveco.

Hey, does this bus still drive? My father drove one for 7 years and this was my favorite bus. I also drove 2axel and 3axel bova for few times before they were withdrawn in estonia. And know almost none remains. As the question can you make some review video coldstart and so on for this bus. Its like nostalgic for me and meybe for some toher busfans. Yes, it was our Setra S315, but it’s sold for our collegue. I still have an opportunity to drive it. It has 8 speed manual gearbox lol :D it should be a fun video when driving in a city :D 2 times more gear changing than anything else :D
@@BusRoutine You usually don't have to use all gears.. you can start in 3rd if the road is straight or downhill.. and on uphill you start with second or first, depending on how steep the uphill is, your weight, if you use air condition etc.
I own a Setra S315 HDH Euro 2 and its a pleasure to drive it runs 80kph with 1200rpm also it drives 10% uphills with 80kph 7th gear 1600rpm. It has OM 442 engine and also has a better heating than more of the modern buses. Greetings from a colegue.

It is only 6 speed gearbox, and if you want to start moving smoother as you can, you have to use 1st gear. Even manufacturer recommends to start from the first. There is a sticker on a dashboard that says this.

There is a Setra double decker, but that bus doesn’t work at the moment. And other buses are all Bova’s.
