ok ... i am a special needs teacher working with preschoolers and I'd like to think i am pretty good at what i do and my coworkers can attest to tht. however, my son does not respond to anything i do at all. i feel like such a failure. he get excited about everything i introduce but he will never try anything out .after having seen this video i will try with a similar activity.
What if they just don’t try to say anything at all? He reaches and points at his choice but will not verbalize anything..He’s 15 months and says mama and dada and nana but that’s it and will not really say those often even when prompted..He can show me what he wants but won’t verbalize it
I know this was 2 years ago, but I'm going through the same thing with my 18 month old. He's starting speech therapy in January. I feel like such a failure and I'm just curious how things turned out for you all.

@@dumbty344 my son is 20 months now he's still not talking he'll babble and he hums alot also says mama but no real words. His evaluation appointment is coming up in August. So we'll get some answers on what's going on with him.

I had tried everything I can to make him talk.. but i failed .. I don't know what to do else I am so disparate ..
How old is ur child..my son dont really talk too..he dont even say mama.

My son is 14 months he will babble and say maama when he's crying but nothing else. I'm afraid something is wrong.
