His father made him like that (maybe the only good thing he did for Luis Mi) I went once to a concert of him and you have no idea how wonderful it is to see him in person! Goosebumps all the time! And his mariachi band is one of the best in Mexico. It would be wonderful if one day, after this pandemic is over, you could go to one of his concerts, it is definitely worth it! My family used to send me to Mexico City every summer to stay with my rich aunt to study Spanish and music. At the age of 12, an uncle took me to Garibaldi Plaza (the "mecca" of mariachis in Mexico City) to help him "audition" a mariachi for a wedding; we auditioned 4 mariachis. The first 3 sucked. But the 4th one was of top quality (tho expensive, ouch!) so they were the ones we called back for a 4-hour gig.
