You know why Conquest is loved ? Because it is huge. After you finish the main quest you can unlock like 30+ scenario with the start of different significant characters (faction leader and sub leader). And your character stat (pokemon, bond) is saved and added when you recruit the character again in each scenario.
tbf, it's less that Pokemon is ignoring Conquest but more that, because it's a crossover, they're kinda limited in what they can do. Like, as much as I'd want a sequel that massively improves on it, they kinda already used 99% of characters they could from the other game afaik... What they ARE ignoring though is the potential for other Pokemon turn-based strategy games that could take inspiration from Conquest! As for the hack, looks pretty interesting. The first Conquest-RomHack I'm seeing, and I'm suprised that it's actually at a level where they even added new Pokemon like Frosmoth or the Kommo-o line.
I do like the idea of doing other Pokemon turn-based strategy games. Yeah I was surprised that dunsparce was in it, dunsparce doesnt get too much love.
I wouldn't mind another pokemim conquest, and if they are going to stay with historical figures, I mean whether they are actually historical or not, but "romance of the three kindgoms" would be a good candidate to use for more conquest games

As the title says, it's specifically based on the Sengoku-period in Japan, so if they want to do a proper Conquest sequel, they can only take from the Sengoku-period. So for reasons stated in my original comment, a turn-based strategy-game taking a bit of inspiration from Conquest is the best we can hope for.

This hack is a great chance to give all main warlords a legendary pokemon in the postgame they could form a 100% bond with. For example the base game has Rayquaza for Nobunaga and Groudon for Shingen, but Kyogre is not in the game. Also I think Mitsuhide should get Kyurem as a Legi and not Articuno.
I never thought about looking for them but rom hacks of pokemon conquest. I never knew I needed something more. And from what I’m seeing in the comments there plenty to choose from. Ny excitement is immeasurable.
You should probably give an overview of the game, describing the macro of how it works and what large things were changed from the original. You giving the play by play isn't necessary given that the objective of the video is for us to play the mod and experience it for ourselves.

Nice video dude only suggestion is to turn the gamma down a bit its far to vibrant in a sense that the original was a bit more dull with the colours and the vibrancy doesnt sit right but thats just my opinion otherwise well done. Ive been a huge fan kf this game since i was five

pokemon conquest is the fire emblem of pokemon, i love it, and it was realyl loyal to japanese culture too, imo its more than the legends arceus... not saying that pla is cool, its really cool too
Glaceon? Why go for Glaceon? Your accuracy/evasion isn't great and you have a bad defensive type. Frostbite isn't bad, but Espeon is the winner's choice, Share is so unbelievably broken (you know those Mighty Blows that only self apply and make you deal double damage? Espeon gets them too now). Vaporeon is probably my second favorite Eevee, but I'm not a fan of the ability selection on it.
By the time PLA takes place, a few centuries had already passed since the Sengoku era Though on the other hand this game does have wildly advanced technology so who knows when the hell it takes place
If I knew they released it digitally on Wii U I would have picked it up. ... I still have the original, but it's been YEARS. I think I was halfway through the postgame but -- dang, SO repetitive. Still remember bits and pieces of my first playthrough -- the only rival Warlord I recruited was the Staraptor guy, and the final boss battle really came down to the final Pokemon in the final turn.
I think I got the game somewhere under some dust, but despite the postgame being superrrrr repetitive, the last story was like you team up with Nobunaga to take the region, wish was super fun!

He couldn't saved the abused pokemons with Zekrom and Rayquaza, not that's too easy and makes too much sense. How can I make this game work in a emulator? I played the game, but then the game won't launched and it gave me a error sign. I tried it on RetroArch using a MelonDS core. I tried contacting the dev of that mod about it, he accepted my friend request so I can talk to him, but he never responded to any of my messages, I first messaged him like 5 days ago. So I have no idea :(

@@StarGamingZ I tried xdelta first, it patched cause it had the matching CRC, so no errors. But it wouldn't let me play, got an error when I tried playing in RetroArch. Then I tried doing the same using .rlmod using the tool it mentioned, I never used this tool so I can't be 100% sure I did it right, but I think I did? Yet still error when I tried playing it in RetroArch. What emulator do you use to play the game? And if RetroArch then what core? :(

I went Glaceon to the flying kingdom & the dragon kingdom, I later was able to get Vaporeon for everything else

Mystery Dungeon was definitely a solid game, the only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't evolve yourself nor your partner.
