- In Ready to Love (OWN) Fort Worth Season 10's Reunion Part 1, we get to know the fate of one couple and rehash a tremendous amount of petty grievances from during the season. Security had to get involved in the final segment when things started getting a little too real when the perpetrator began offering up beat ups like Oprah used to do gifts around Christmas.
Part 2 is sure to be even worse than whatever this was and if the Reunion Part 2 is the last episode of Ready to Love, it would be fitting to see it go out on as bad a note as Part 1 did.

@HighPriestess_Studio5 The real reunion is out. I'm hoping to have enough time to get my version up by Tuesday or Wednesday. A new OWN show I hope to cover starts next Friday, and if it works inside my concept, I'll be doing it. I'm really hoping this is the end of RTL, because this show is out of gas completely.

@@NotreadyTolove Soooo... I have to say... I was semi over it, during and following Season 5, by Season 6... that was their last chance to keep my attention, which failed gallantly. I knew nothing much of Season 7 and/or beyond. THAT was when I decided to catch up via your content which was MUCH more entertaining and summed up the key points and nonsense to my satisfaction. 👑💛🙏🏽🤭 The show may feel "out of gas" due to casting challenges. For instance, maybe people who are TRULY interested in finding "love" wouldn't consider this unconventional method for meeting someone and taking them/being taken, seriously. I believe, over time, people recognized this method of "finding love" to be ingenuine, hurtful, chaotic and exploitative. 🤷🏽♀️ So, at this point, there's no real competition for the majority of opportunists / habitual line steppers who WILL show up for casting, faithfully, at this point? 😶🙄🤭
@HighPriestess_Studio5 When shows like this go on too long, they really become casts full of opportunists. I can't say why someone like Alonzo, Justin, or Chaz would do a show like this. For Laron, it's just pure clout chasing, wanting to be an actor or whatever. For William, exposure for his 'comedy'. For Will, he wanted to sell houses. Maybe some of the other men were there for various other exposure or they'd just exhausted every other dating avenue they could think of (Dominique/Jonathan). What most of the guys on the show (far more than the women) don't seem to understand is that a show like this is more likely to 'hurt' your profile than help it (Chaz was a prime example of that).
In one of my season 2 reunion videos, I'm pretty sure I had the joke after that one went really sideways where I have a Tommy translation of 'Did only 10 men audition for this?'. Because it was like, dam. The opportunism issue has been going on as far back as then, but the real issue the show has (in my opinion) is that as the cast gets younger overall the show gets worse. This is a show that needs the people to be 38-48 to really work. Once you throw 31-35 year olds in the mix, it becomes really difficult because the younger ones haven't been through enough in their love lives to really deserve to be there yet.
It had a great original concept, but it really did blow it...and quickly. This season might have had the youngest overall cast and it was probably up there with being the worst season, if not the worst, because none of it was real (sorry Mieka and Justin, not buying it, even though I still haven't seen part 2 of the reunion yet).

You really have a "knack" (amazing insight) for this so now, I"m interested in your perspective of the previous seasons I'm more familiar with. 🤗🤭

@HighPriestess_Studio5 With the visual aid of his necklace, I was able to check out his company. He's the founder/CEO and the houses they make are bomb, no doubt, so he probably won't fire himself.

@HighPriestess_Studio5 That's the funny thing about that scene. Patrice wasn't even listening to what Will said. I think it's quite possible that he set up a house and was planning on taking a nap or whatever. She read it as 'this dude is poor, doesn't have a bed, and sleeps on the floor' because he bored her or something (she related multiple conversations with people throughout the season inaccurately, so it was kind of a habit with her). Everyone then ran with what she said because it made 'sense' to them based on how childishly he acted throughout the show. Mieka really doesn't know s***, so her calling him scammer would be like her calling me president. Just because she says it doesn't make it true. He handled it about as badly as he could, but I have no doubt he has money. I just don't know how much credit card debt he has lol

@@NotreadyTolove This makes more sense now, as well. So Tommy explained what staging was to Patrice who apparently did not quite understand (or even truly care about) what he (Will) was doing... ? I just don't understand putting yo' FURNITURE ... in the... gar🤔age... @HighPriestess_Studio5 Tommy usually gets the clown emoji when he says incredibly obtuse stuff. A good example was Patrice just says Alonzo is a liar and was cheating on her with multiple women and Tommy's response is basically 'Can we fix this?'. That's the idea of where it came from lol

@HighPriestess_Studio5 Ever since maybe season 4, the reunions have left people who were eliminated in the first couple of episodes on the floor without letting them talk at all lol. We see a couple of those here, but some did interject who made it to episode 4 or 5 (half the cast could have been eliminated first in the first episode, including 2 who made it to or almost to the end). Alexis was a key person for about half the season, so Mieka's comment was way off base lol
@@NotreadyTolove🤔 So I sort of noticed that... sort of not. I get enveloped into attempting to understand the root cause of the drama as we know we only get snippets of actuality. However, I feel, THIS level of tension stems from some off camera interaction(s). Feels a little hindsight-plotty-schemy 😬... to me. My comment was inspired by energy/body language and prior interactions within the current reunion... I am (well... used to be), an avid watcher of this show and honestly... this one feels a little...😬 ... ehhhhhhh... 😳 dare I say... "juvenile" 😳🤷🏽♀️to me 💅🏾
@HighPriestess_Studio5 The major drama inside the season outside of the grotesque Jonathan/Alexis incident on camera was that something that was said in the women's lounge got back to Will, likely through Alexis. Will then put together a group text saying the men should get back at the women or something for dogging them (Laron alluded to this at the retreat). William was 'upset' and apparently went along with it, though he claimed it was out of context. Up to that point, William was theoretically in 'good' shape with Patrice and Mya. Mya noped out really fast when she realized William would be a part of such a juvenile scheme (she didn't really like William anyway). No one except Patrice liked William (he was like her number 3 or 4 lol) by the end of that episode and the women voted him off.
When Alexis clumsily let it spill that a woman thought Will was sleeping on the floor in his almost elimination, Will's face turned into death mode and his goal was to get revenge because he's rich and he wasn't capable of just saying, 'ok, f*** them, I don't care'. He went around pestering every woman at the first retreat to find out who said it and Patrice flat out admitted she did. They tried to act like Alexis ratted out Patrice, when she didn't.
Koshiea and Alexis had a major issue in one of the women's lounges where Koshiea basically threatened to beat her up (hard to say who would have won that fight based on the reunion part 1's events). I'm gonna guess there was serious bad blood between Mieka and Alexis at some point during the show (no idea why) for Mieka to both go off on her in that one segment where apparently the editors had cut out a lot, and Alexis to look like she really wanted to fight her.
Alexis basically made the mistake of putting her foot in her mouth several times, but she wasn't really that bad throughout the season. She was extremely repetitive and boring in the context of the show, but the level of anger she received from some of the women seemed a bit off. Because she probably spent a lot of money on her dress and gas, she was hopping mad by the time she tried to make her exit in part 1, deserved or undeserved. I remember Laron being super fired up to eliminate her when it happened, but when it actually happened, he was sheepish and she had no clue that he hated her. They usually have aired about 3 or 4 episodes by the time they shoot the reunion, so Alexis likely would have had no idea what was going on at that time because no one actually told her. If the reunion was after the season aired, it would have been LIT between them.
@@NotreadyTolove Thank you for this! 👑💛🙏🏽 I actually watched both reunion episodes last night (inspired by your content of course 🤓🤭). That, along with the few episodes I did see and what you covered this season, gave me more context. So, I was correct.. the off camera drama was the "Lady's Lounge Leak" . Will is/was "something else". I truly believe he put the battery in Alexis' back to "break" Lounge ptotocol. I NOW believe this was the motivation for her Reunion Rampage because not only did she appear inebriated... she also appeared HIGHLY defensive which made me feel like she may have felt exposed, used and unprotected by Will and whoever else was in that group chat. 🤷🏽♀️ Her (self) redemption was possible with a more mature... sobered 🤷🏽♀️??? mindset. She could have taken accountability and apologized... done her own mudslinging following, had she chosen 💅🏾🤷🏽♀️... however... NONE of THAT "nonsense" 🤭 occurred. She was ready to whoop cast AND crew for her actions mmmmmkay 🙄🙄🙄
@HighPriestess_Studio5 The cast member, Precious, from season 6 had a similar reunion arc to Alexis. But she just told everyone to f*** off after cussing several out, noped out, and drove off in her G-Wagon (I think a lot of people were surprised she was that rich lol). Alexis couldn't even get a door to open. I think the funny thing is that Alexis kept talking about how hard and rough she was if people pushed her during the season, but she showed basically none of it then. The reunion showed that side of her. She was legit mad and I think it was mainly because she spent all that money on her dress and gas that she didn't have.

@HighPriestess_Studio5 His story would have worked if they hadn't made something up in his episode (no idea of if it happened or was faked). In the real episode, they claim he's in the back of a limo at the bridge and he refuses to get out of the car. In this episode, he basically claims he never went. Who knows the truth? Based on what they showed in his episode, he looked like he was full of s*** lol

@@NotreadyTolove Sooooo... after watching the reunion... I actually liked Glenn. He said he was a teacher of (?) children 🤨😑 He definitely read differently to me however... maybe he's a teacher NOW... 😉 anywho... he was funny, entertaining and mysterious. He might have been a great balance to the nonsense we were subjected to this season. I understood the speed-dating concept better as well however, he clearly wasn't interested REGARDLESS of his definition of "love"... so to see the ladies be SO smitten by/interested in connecting with him for the speed dating session was a bit confusing... 🤷🏽♀️ He tried to explain away his disinterest by insinuating the stress of the process triggered his anxiety and with the possibility of that having some truth to it... I still read "disinterest" over all 🤷🏽♀️
@HighPriestess_Studio5 In his first episode, he came off as really goofy. They were interviewing him asking him questions, and he didn't like his answers, so he tried to get them to start over (Pro Tip: Never say, 'Can I do that again?' or 'Please don't use that' to a reality show crew lol). And then they asked him a question and he was just flummoxed. It seemed more he wasn't ready for the cameras than anything else, which is totally fine. I agree he might have been a good cast addition, but the way he shot down the first 3 women in part 1 of the reunion was hilarious. He seemed a bit ruthless, which is why I gave him the 'Next' translations for each one of those interactions. I couldn't think of any better way to describe how he was acting.
@@NotreadyTolove "Acting"... imho he was acting... and a lot of it was actually funny... 🤭 he's very easy on the eyeballs as well... that was clear by the ladies' reactions when he was "served up on that NRTL reunion platter" 🤭.. 🤔hooooow much you wanna' bet they're bringing him back as a "main course" for next season... ? 😉👌🏽
