The power of the Bretonian Sword and Shield comes from its 4 push attack chain and amazing chain stagger. This weapon may have damage that isn’t great, but it’s impossible to die, making even the most overwhelming enemy density manageable.
Bret S&S has headshot combo(heavy1, light2) similar to Elf 1H Sword. The shield bash can be accessed by doing light1 before it. (light 1, heavy 2, light 3 - which is another shield bash) I find the double shield bash somewhat useful against enemies that are running to you in a line(so the first shield bash may not always hit everything you want to hit). The push-stab can also be immediately followed by a shield bash, to more-safely snipe the one shielded SV in a pack. That combo also makes you move faster as far as I can tell. Definitely more fluid than trying to do the same with normal S&S. Also has more dodge count than normal S&S. It's a shield weapon that works well enough at everything instead of just being defensive. Definitely more usable against armor than normal S&S. Ironically it would have been much better if used by merc/fk because they only get to carry one melee weapon.
The movespeed boost on top of the push stagger has let me clutch a few games as GK, because it let me run around quickly while pushing stuff out of my way. Take the stamina regen talent (instead of temp HP after getting hit) so the push atk into light bash becomes more spammable, lets you completely avoid a lot of dmg purely from the stagger.
M&S not S? I think you're misreading the armory mod. Whatever you see in the heavy attack and push attack rows, DOUBLE that. That's a readout for 1 weapon for that attack, not both. That's why this weapon is so amazing, its dealing ~36 damage with linesman + ~16 damage and stagger limit on each heavy to unarmored, and ~16 damage to armor. This weapon is certainly better than the mace and shield Its by far Kruber's best weapon, the speed, the safety, the cleave, the all-rounder damager, its one of the best weapons in the game.
I think you nailed it on the head in the first sentence. It's like the entire review is based on the numbers in the spreadsheet, instead of the real-game application of the weapons. Mace & Shield is pretty dog tier, how did it make its way to S-tier?
This tier list is so odd. I’m having trouble figuring out who this list is aimed at guiding. Greatsword and the Sword & Shield weapons are too low for it be aimed at Cata. Mace and Sword being too low and Mace and Shield being way too high remove it for being a DWONS list. Halberd and Mace are both too low for it being aimed at Legend. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless they just want to know what your favorite kruber weapons are. In reference to just cata and up difficulties, the Greatsword and Halberd both outclass the Mace & Shield, 1h Sword and 2h Hammer on every difficulty Cata and up. In the case of the 2H sword it provides more cleave against mixed hordes and more (when compared to M&S or 2H hammer) or similar mobility (when compared to 1h sword) than the other three. In the case of the Halberd it either provides more cleave and/or more damage than the other three while also having a more versatile move set. For Legend nothing should really be in D-tier and Halberd should definitely not in the second to last tier. If you insist on having a D-tier Breton Sword and shield should not be in it let alone below the mace & shield. It’s move set is more versatile than mace & shield and it’s attacks generally flow and cancel into other attacks far better. I’d say it’s a far better weapon than 1h sword on legend as it can provide stagger far faster and one more targets than 1h swords heavies.
most of his educational content is like this lol, absolutely bizarre or just factually wrong takes constantly. mace and sword is by far the most common krubs weapon in hard content, yet it's below fucking mace and shield lol
I also just dont understand how sword/shield is D-tier. He really didnt’t play with it at at all, as these two AP attacks chain after each other really comfortably, while simultaniously staggering the target. It is B-tier at worst, and S-tier on Foot Knight, at least it was before spear and shield. Placing the fcking MACE above it is blasphemy.
For me, I do quite well with the mace. I feel that the sword is fairly anemic. But I agree with the halberd. If you dont have the combos down it is way too finicky
Mace is awesome. Its first two light attacks are not diagonal, they are almost horisontal, have good cleave and are great against hordes, combined with a push attack. Heavy attacks are great for armour. A very solid and versatile weapon. I gotta admit, I don't play much on Cata, but on Legend it works just fine for me.
I realize this is a year old vid so balance may have changed, but... I got this game two days ago and so far the executioners sword is my go to primary for grail knight. if you can swing head height, the horde clearing potential is absolutely crazy! paired with the mace and shield I fell prepared for any situation
light-heavy-light is an attack then 2 bashes with the bret sword+shield, pairing that with the push-attack-bash, it can stagger a *lot*. I think you underrate it.
Gotta disagree with several of these, I feel like you’re looking at this from the perspective of solo play or modded difficulty or something. For starters, Bret swordshield must be looked at with the context that it is exclusively a secondary weapon for grail knight. It is (prior to the release of spearshield, which GK can’t use anyways) the highest mobility shield weapon. It’s a safety tool that doesn’t completely rob GK of his mobility as a melee only class. The quick push then bash can get him out of bad situations very effectively or make space for him to ult safely. It also has good single target damage, even on armor. My only gripe with it is how short range its push attack is. Second, the executioner sword is still S or at least high A tier, it’s speed is only a slight issue before proc Merc passive ability or swift slaying, which doesn’t take long because of all the extra crit chance. It’s elite delete ability is the highest in the game when set up right. And its light attacks aren’t stopped by armor so it excels against mixed hordes, particularly because of how easy it is to headshot multiple units at once because of the perfectly horizontal swings. Third, M&S is S tier easily. The damage numbers you’re looking at are only representing one weapon, so essentially double those numbers is what you actually get. It shreds infantry, shreds berserkers, still does fine against armor, has fast attacks and high mobility, and still has standard blocking ability. The only thing it doesn’t EXCEL against is super armor. Fourth, and this is a minor one, Bret LS doesn’t need opportunist at all, its heavy attacks have the same stagger as dwarf greataxe heavies. Meaning if you have 25% power vs skaven, which merc and foot knight can get easily with charm plus talents, you can stagger everything but chaos warriors out of any attack and still keep swift slaying.
Also. Placing sword and shield THAT low, below mace and shield, is absolute blasphemy. His argument-that only 2 attacks deal AP damage-is null and voil as these two attacks chain after each other with a push. Stormvermin become a piece of cake, and CW are quite easy. The mace does abysmally poor on legend, not to mention cata. The longsword it utilitarian, but lacks damage unless you REALLY go for it talents-wise on Merc, which robs your team of attack speed buff. The executioner being B-tier is somewhat understandable if you dont play with it, but in capable hands it is extremely useful
You say that the tank modifier allows to cleave through armour, but to my knowledge, armoured enemies stop all cleave, except some rares exceptions not linked to the tank modifier, and actually heavy linesman is a better modifier in general
Correct, armor stops melee weapons damage cleave regardless of cleave values or modifiers. There are some weapons that have exceptions on some attacks, but they are specific exceptions and not based on cleave values.
Path of Exile... Yes TH-cam. Indeed. I can not agree about the Bret Sword and Shield. It's a good weapon, it's just a little different from other shield weapons. It's awesome against armor on any difficulty with it's first two heavy attacks and a pretty solid secondary weapon. The Push attack and (I believe) the third heavy ignore shields and they follow each other. You can bully flagbearers around like no tomorrow with your push-quickbash combo. The will not be able to protect their flags against you. At least on legend, heavent't tried it on cata yet.
Don't agree about the Bret sword and shield, i mean i guess it's not meta, but it having no damage is not an arguments against it as it's not it's job, GK always has a second melee weapon. I just find it more interesting to play than the other shield weapons as it has far more satisfying combos
Yes, I feel like WetMagic hasn't mentioned that it has a light bash and a heavy bash. Charge a heavy, then heavy bash, light bash, push and light bash. This generates a shit ton of THP and act as a pseudo FootKnight charge as you plow through hordes, considering how fast the light bashes come. I do agree that the sword swings are awkward, I find that their best usage are with the first 2 lights for headshot damage against armour. For quick CC, just push then light bash
Its not just the low damage, its the wonky combos. As he mentioned immediately in the video, the delayed shield bash makes it so much less usable than other shield weapons. For your GK's second weapon, why would you take this weapon instead of running M&S/Exec? Or if you really think you need a shield weapon, just take S&S instead for the much more usable moveset
I don't really get how people can call that weapon's attack sequences clunky. You get a swipe and a quick overhead followed by a quick shield bash. And have every attack it can do with different sequences at your disposal. Want the stab? Push/block attack into heavy 3. Double Stab right there. Shields are not a problem now. Anti Armor? Heavy 1 -> Light 2 -> quick bash The only thing it does not bring is good horde clearing. But that's what you got another weapon for. The damage numbers on this weapon are nothing to sneeze at as well. Just like the bret longsword, it's a precision tool. Not a mindless instrument like the greatsword.
@@JPG.01 that’s an odd comparison considering how bad the great sword is. It’s also not a precision tool considering how low it’s damage is. It’s precise in tickling dangerous targets Ultimately shield weapons are good for crowd control and to that end the best thing about them is the shield bash (ignoring the shield and spear which is just great at many things). Huge stagger on unlimited targets is very valuable. This weapon does not have immediate access to shield bash which is why it’s so useless. If you can show me any known players who rank this weapon well on cata+ difficulty, I’ll change my mind. But from both personal experience and the opinions I’ve seen of “pro” players, this weapon is solidly low tier
Good list overall, though I have to say that spear and shield is S tier. You can stagger plague monks/bestigors/everyone and it has a wonderful double slash for hordes. Good crit chance from items and teammates will make the head hits killshots on elites. No weakpoints in my view and I’ve never killed more elites or taken less damage than with this weapon.
Would be cool if you actually show the animations of these weapons to show what you mean instead of just reading from a sheet. Cuz lot of people dont have all dlc and never used these weapons
You're giving incorrect information about the tank modifier. It doesn't let weapons cleave through elites - that's determined by a hidden flag that is not displayed anywhere in game. 1h sword, tusgor spear, and the sweep attack from mace & shield definitely cannot cleave through elites. The only Kruber weapons that can regularly cleave elites are Greatsword heavy attacks and 2h hammer heavy attacks. Executioner sword light attacks and bretonian sword heavy attacks also technically can as well but their cleave power is too low to actually achieve it in practice unless you get a critical hit or something. A quick way to test it yourself is to hit the 3 armored dummies in the keep; most weapons are hard coded to stop after hitting just one.
Correct, I will add that most of those attacks only stagger cleave and don’t actually damage beyond the first elite. Then there’s the executioner sword lights that don’t damage armor at all yet still cleave through elites.
ehm push attack - light attack on Bret shield&sword is what you are doing instead of heavy attack 1. So you can indeed do the same things as with other shield weapons, but in addition it grants more mobility and protects you against flamethrower rats. In addition it deals more damage and sword&shield on armoured and unarmoured units. Dont know why you rate it so low.
Like a few others I have to disagree about about the brett sword and shield. It's a weapon that's really made by a few specific combinations. One of my favourites is light attack, dodge (the dodge is not always needed), heavy attack then light attack. This is a slash (which you dont even really need to land)followed by two shield bashes with no stamina cost. Perfect for crowd control. Also the charged attack followed by a light attack is really good. Especially for enemies with breakable shields. The lack of overall damage is compensated for by how easy it is to get head shots and the power boost grail knight gets on charged attacks.
Your missing out; Bret Longsword be G teir, it also has OP combos you didn't mention, a light attack after a heavy 2 is light 1 so you can loop left to right swings for mobs w/o block canceling and a light attack after a heavy 3 is somehow the push attack (at least it's animation) and a heavy after that is the heavy 3 attack again, so you can loop overhead swings for OP DPS on boss and/or armors, and playing around a bit you'll find smooth transitions between the two combos. did you know this wet?
The Bret Sword/Shield is S tier if used "correctly" on the Grail Knight. Let me explain. The role of this weapon is NOT DPS, but crowd control (CC). You can easily stagger hordes and elites in order for your teammates to survive and kill the enemies on the ground. - Select the talents "Lady's Generosity" (stagger = temp health) and "Virtue of the Joust" (increase push arc/stam regen). - Use your primary weapon for DPS. - Whenever a large horde or elite patrol comes, swap to Bret Sword/Shield. - Attack order: Shield Push, Attack 1 (forward stab), Attack 2 (shield bash), reset & repeat. - You will knock everything over, gain massive amounts of temp health, and avoid the wonky mechanics which leave you open for attack. This weapon is D tier if you expect it to work like a normal sword/shield or duel wield weapon. It's normal attack rotation is slow and it uses odd angles which leave you open to take damage. This is a selfless, team saving weapon that doesn't show up in stats at the end of the match. But trust me, your teammates will thank you and enjoy you knocking enemies down so they can take them out. Especially useful when teamed up with Sienna/Coruscation Staff, Outcast Engineer, or any teammate that isn't mobile.
Thanks for the detailed info on the weapons. It was helpful for a console user like myself. Will you be doing an updated weapons tier list for all the characters?
I was playing with the great hammer last night for the first time..I was definitely taking more damage then usual..but the joy I was getting out of smashing heads in was worth it
Bret ls is goated, only reason I take Bret shield is cuz the push+light combo can save your team from getting overwhelmed or save a teammate that’s surrounded by multiple elites
Gonna have to disagree on normal sword and shield. For 1 it has the ability to make you move faster by spamming push attack, which in itself should move it up a tier. While the anti-armor attacks aren't great, the stagger and horde clear potential is much better than the bretonnian sword and shield. If built right, you can lock even plague monks in place and kill them quickly with push attack + 2 lights loop. That in itself is a very safe stagger and damage sequence for anything unarmored, so it should move it another tier. In my opinion it's B tier, especially on Grail Knight, where you combine it with executioner's to compensate for the sword and shield's lack of boss damage and anti-armor.
It is a mod that you can use in the official realm if you play on pc. Install the mod, make sure it's checked in the loader and type /armory to access it.
Halbert not S tier is a joke, right? because its the hardest weapon to master in the game but highest potential, because of the most interweaved comboes, right? So that the halbert wont get nerved, right? i noticed something like this happening with the best weapons from every hero. that the SSS tier is set in C or D. to protect them from nerves, right?
Is there any guide for how to make push attack > third attack? I cant get it to work consistently and i also cant find any information on how to do it online.
For spear you complete the Winds of Magic DLC mission as Kruber. For mace and sword complete the 3 Back to Ubersreik missions as Kruber. Remember to check Okri's challenges after you're done this to claim the blueprints.
In most cases it halves the mass of anything hit. So it effectively doubles your cleave values against anything that is not a monster or a chaos warrior. If you want to cleave through Chaos Warriors you want the heavy linesman modifier as they have a tank mass modifier of 1000% stopping any attack dead in it's tracks. Also notable exceptions are ungors, skaven slaves and fanatics as they have a tank modifier of 75%. So their mass is just reduced by 25% when hit by a tank modifier attack.
@@WetMagic That is not true, the ability to damage more than one armored unit is independent of the cleave modifiers as some attacks that can do that have heavy linesman, such as the greatsword heavy attacks which have the highest ability to damage multiple armored per swing in the game. As a rule hitting armor ends damage cleave regardless of whether it stops the swing or not. The exceptions to this rule are just that, exceptions.
You're rating the Bretonian Sword and Shield too low. It's really good specifically as a secondary weapon on the grail knight because of the push - bash combo, which is not available on the other shield weapons. When you're using a shield weapon as your secondary, it doesn't really matter what any of the attacks do, because you're only using it for 3 things: blocking, pushing, and bashing. You use it to create space in a horde to get attacks off with your main weapon. Bretonian sword and shield can pull off a push and bash way faster than the other weapons, which allows you to spend less time with a shield out and more time hitting things with the executioner's sword (or whatever else).
They are mass modifiers. Basically they make it so a certain attack can cleave through more mass. Tank is the one for armor which is why I believe its the most valuable.
Hard disagree with the regular Sword and Shield being D tier, as a Footknight player it's my go to for tanking/killing. It's good on every class and on the Footknight it is an absolute monster. It needs to be built with as much attack speed as possible, will literally hard CC and kill armored units with the push attack + headshot for days. The X swings make headshots a breeze and I will often have as many headshots as kills by the end of the game. It doesn't do the most damage.. but it sure as hell brings the most value out of the majority of his weapons. You simply can't die with it equipped and it brings a ton of value to the team. I think you need to re-evaluate this weapon before brushing it off.
This is true. I also find it's pretty good on Grail Knight (although I normally take the mace and shield). However, this tier list has to take other Kruber careers into account. The Sword and Shield isn't a great choice on Merc and it's definitely a bottom tier choice on Huntsman. Maybe a C-Tier weapon when you take all other Kruber careers into account.
I believe I evaluated it properly. It has a fast shield bash so yes its good for making thp and creating space, but I would not agree that it is a monster of a weapon. Low damage and the best attack against armor leaves you wide open to being hit. You absolutely can die with this weapon. Try to solo a patrol with the sword and shield and tell me how it goes. This weapon is a one trick pony if I've ever seen one.
@@WetMagic I don't think solo'ing a patrol with it is make or break.. as I said.. it creates space against armored units for the team to kill together. The only thing it lacks is Chaos Warrior kill potential.. but when you're playing any Kruber class with it you have other things in your kit to deal with them or allow your team to deal with them.
Weirdly tho, the one handed sword's heavy attacks have the same stats as the two handed hammer but the sword can't cleave through armor like the hammer can
I dont really get the tuskgor spear, how can it be that good considering the fact that it has 2 cleave on the first 2 light attacks, as well as on the first heavy attack. I tried playing with it but it doesnt do anything on its own, it heavily relies on your team. You just poke at elites with its heavy 1 (and push trash)
Well first of all, the first two light attacks are both thrust attacks which cleave really doesn’t serve much purpose. The main horde combo on this weapon is push attack -> light attack -> heavy attack. Which has incredible cleave, damage, and stagger, while both sweeping attacks having the tank modifier for cleaving through armor. This makes it so even when dealing with mixed hordes it has no issue. The first light attack into block cancel first light attack again gives a super fast single target damage option for non armor units as well. The only downfall of the weapon is that it is quite stamina heavy as it relies on the push attack and also doesn’t have a downward heavy attack for easy headshots so chaos warriors may be a little awkward to kill. It can chain stagger chaos warriors though. And combine all that with 180 degree block angle. It’s a very well rounded safe weapon that can be effective in pretty much every scenario.
Still a beginner (playing for like a month only a few battles each day) but really like the bretonian longsword on kruber. Didnt even know about these internal stats but the fact that it has nice smooth combos on both types of attacks just made it comfortable and enjoyable to use. When I tried the executioner sword I got rid of it after one battle. The timing on light attacks is just weird + super slow. Heavy attack felt really good against armor but that was just not enough for me as a main weapon. Currenly only using it as secondary on grail knight specifically against slow armored units like CW and have mace + sword as main weapon.
Im still mad about the Ex sword nerf. I keep using it, but it is very weak vs shielded enemies, as in, I think I can't kill two shielded vermin at once with it. However, I fell in love with trusted companions, that weapon is braindead and godly, perfect. I do not understand why people like spear however, weapon feels really overcomplicated
Placing Brett SnS in the same rank as regular Sword and Shield is just doing it dirty. Brett SnS has fantastic stagger combos better than any other shield weapon - P/L, L/H/L, or the full on P/L/L/H/L. L block cancel gives it horde clear. But it also has good anti-elite damage with its heavies - PA/H or H/L/H work well, so that you dont sacrifice armor damage like you do for sword and shield. If you're going to put mace and shield at S tier and Spear and Shield at A tier, which I think are too high, then Brett SnS definitely needs to be higher up. Even if you made the argument of poor AP for Brett SnS (which is false), theres a reason you have a 2nd melee weapon on Grail Knight. You run Executioner Sword or Brett Sword or whatever you want for higher damage. Brett SnS stagger combo is what typically gives me space for pulling out the Exec and doing a Heavy HS easily.
I'm honestly surprised to see the Spear so high up on your list. For whatever reason I feel like it doesn't dear nearly as much damage as is listed here when I'm using it.
The damage isn’t what makes the spear great, it’s the combination of crowd control, stagger, and having both mobility and blocking safety. And its damage still isn’t bad.
I agree on the Bret Sword & Shield. I love mixing combos like with the TuskGSpear, Halberd, Sword&dag and especially the oh so awesome BIllhook, but I just hate that weapon. I just can't make it work.
As a great hammer main it's very good Very vercitile A figth with chaos variors is just a blow for blow Me and my friend often have me in front and her from the back stabbing the fuck out of it Feels very fun to use A tire for me
Wet Magic delivers! I love the mace and shield, but struggle to deal enough damage with it. The stagger is hard to beat, but I switched to spear and shield recently and have been doing much better in the damage department. It's hard to pick a favorite.
Cleave kruber build with 2 hander hammer is good. Just cleave through and yell at people. Landsknechte for looks zweihander or polearm but to me if you know how to cleave with hammer irs better.
The fact that anything is above mace and sword makes me immediately discount your tier list… I love your normal gameplay content, but your build recommendations are seriously misguided. Keep making the fun gameplay and laughs with your friends, leave the tier lists and number crunching to Core97
I kinda like it cause you have to prefire on hordes and i get so many headshots if I time it properly. I play champion mostly though and haven't tried legend or cata
Sorry, but these "all career tier lists" still don't quite work on me. Each career has different bonuses and requirements for weapons. Each has its own tier list. Mercenary needs a weapon with good sweeping motions, he doesn't need it to be fast since he can utilise cleave to make it faster. Grail knight can use 2 sets of weapons - and Bretonnian Sword and Shield is a great secondary. Foot knight and well-staggering weapins are a match made in heaven. Huntsman just needs to survive the melee and keep himself in elite and monster-shooting business, so he usually doesn't really care about armour-piercing abilities of his weapons. Those multi-career tiers don't work too well. I disagree with almost any pick in this list and some of them are absolutely baffling for me.
agreed, I thought he was going to make the weapons tier list based on career skill like his previous videos. I know some weapons work better with certain classes than others.
I think clips of gameplay relating to the weapon would help from a viewing experience, instead of just looking at what essentially is a stat sheet.

I sure love playing Kruber in Path of Exile!
Right? aha
Bret S&S has headshot combo(heavy1, light2) similar to Elf 1H Sword. The shield bash can be accessed by doing light1 before it. (light 1, heavy 2, light 3 - which is another shield bash)

Thank you so much for explaining this. I usually agree with him but not on this
Also covers most of your body from ungor archers
Anti Armor? Heavy 1 -> Light 2 -> quick bash
The only thing it does not bring is good horde clearing.
It’s precise in tickling dangerous targets
Ultimately shield weapons are good for crowd control and to that end the best thing about them is the shield bash (ignoring the shield and spear which is just great at many things).
Definitely needed this to point me in the right direction thank you
Would be cool if you actually show the animations of these weapons to show what you mean instead of just reading from a sheet.
Indeed. I always carry it as a secondary on a GK and it's perfect for building grey health.
Wet put the one handed sword above the halberd and mace? How the times have changed
The halberd is great imo. I'm not seeing the issue honestly. You don't need dodge or block on it because of its incredible reach.
I've been using SnS since launch and its never failed me! I usually just run a rifle for anything armored with refresh on headshots
Where can you find the weapon/enemy compendium?
All about that Grail Knight
you forgot to mention that Mace & Sword heavy attacks deal twice the damage. CMIIW
Where did you get this weapon compendium? I tried googling it but found nothing.
How do I access the weapon compendium?
How to open weapon compendium?
Your missing out; Bret Longsword be G teir, it also has OP combos you didn't mention, a light attack after a heavy 2 is light 1 so you can loop left to right swings for mobs w/o block canceling and a light attack after a heavy 3 is somehow the push attack (at least it's animation) and a heavy after that is the heavy 3 attack again, so you can loop overhead swings for OP DPS on boss and/or armors, and playing around a bit you'll find smooth transitions between the two combos. did you know this wet?
Never tried it that way. I'll have to give it a go. Thanks.
What’s the best choice for a Mercenary bot?
Once again I learned a lot, thanks man!
Sure thing.
You can do exactly same with ordinary shield+sword
@@pajilaya_pasta But normal swordshield sucks against armor and has no mobility.
Thanks for the detailed info on the weapons. It was helpful for a console user like myself.
Will you be doing an updated weapons tier list for all the characters?
Doesnt really make sense to me why mace and sword isnt in S but otherwise cool list
pardon me for asking but what does the xtra notes say about Linemans... Heavy Linesman? what does that mean
You put the great hammer below s tier?!
HERESY!!!
From what it looks like, if you're using the mace, you should just use heavy attacks. They're faster, stronger, and better armor pen.
Is the weapon compendium a vanilla feature in the game? If so, how do I access it?
I have most dlcs, how do you get the tusk spear and the mace and sword duo?
For spear you complete the Winds of Magic DLC mission as Kruber. For mace and sword complete the 3 Back to Ubersreik missions as Kruber. Remember to check Okri's challenges after you're done this to claim the blueprints.
@@sham5614 OH sweet. Needed that cause I didn't know where tf they were, thanks
What exactly does the tank modifier do?
It allows you to damage more than one armored target with that specific attack.
What do the tank and Linesman modifiers mean?
They are mass modifiers. Basically they make it so a certain attack can cleave through more mass. Tank is the one for armor which is why I believe its the most valuable.
Except tank does not allow to cleave through or even stagger multiple armored elites
is the spear and shield from dlc?
Awesome. Favourite hero!
*DWONS*
@@WetMagic I don't think solo'ing a patrol with it is make or break.. as I said.. it creates space against armored units for the team to kill together. The only thing it lacks is Chaos Warrior kill potential.. but when you're playing any Kruber class with it you have other things in your kit to deal with them or allow your team to deal with them.
@Roberto Alejandro It's also slower and leaves you vulnerable to more attacks.
Weirdly tho, the one handed sword's heavy attacks have the same stats as the two handed hammer but the sword can't cleave through armor like the hammer can
I'm sorry but in what world is Mace and sword not S+ tier? It's by far the most overturned weapon that kruber has access to..
Its Here!!!
Funny that the 1H Sword gets tank on its heavy attacks but the 2H Greatsword only gets heavy linesmen.
I am so happy that finally someone appreciates my favourite weapon the Bretonian Longsword. :)
I love the bret shield tho. If you stack stam and stam regin and push into push attack into light 1 its amazing for hoards and staggering.
dude is either clueless or trolling
They have updated the execution Sword base dmg
...but shield bash is the first attack, the PUSH attack does not start the combo...
Dunno, the bretsword is kinda slow for me. I just played it on merc who has 10% bonus but still... It doesn't feel like a longsword at all.
I agree on the Bret Sword & Shield. I love mixing combos like with the TuskGSpear, Halberd, Sword&dag and especially the oh so awesome BIllhook, but I just hate that weapon. I just can't make it work.
As a great hammer main it's very good
Very vercitile
A figth with chaos variors is just a blow for blow
Me and my friend often have me in front and her from the back stabbing the fuck out of it
Feels very fun to use
A tire for me
Wet Magic delivers! I love the mace and shield, but struggle to deal enough damage with it. The stagger is hard to beat, but I switched to spear and shield recently and have been doing much better in the damage department. It's hard to pick a favorite.
mace and sword,executioner sword
That's my meta for grail knight! M&S shreds hordes.
@@TheZhadd169 ikr
Cleave kruber build with 2 hander hammer is good. Just cleave through and yell at people.
Landsknechte for looks zweihander or polearm but to me if you know how to cleave with hammer irs better.
The fact that anything is above mace and sword makes me immediately discount your tier list… I love your normal gameplay content, but your build recommendations are seriously misguided. Keep making the fun gameplay and laughs with your friends, leave the tier lists and number crunching to Core97
3:10 Damn brutal but deserved, that weapon is trash.
I have a hard time deciding between executioner sword and great hammer tbh, I like both a lot.
I never liked the executioner sword, it makes you feel so slow
I kinda like it cause you have to prefire on hordes and i get so many headshots if I time it properly. I play champion mostly though and haven't tried legend or cata
updated, as in wronger
wtf.. spear is the worst weapon ever.. and its S tier? bull sh...
Bret+shield is useless trash, tried it multiple times.
@@gangatalishis Literally everything works with a Merc.. to a varying degree of efficiency, but still xD
