I just KNEW there was more going on with that compressor than previous versions of Kontakt, well done! Sounds fantastic. And the amount of work you put in under the hood (and hi Owen!) is remarkable and really well thought out. Kudos all around!

i want to make a drum sample pack of my kit. i have a 70s ludwig standard kit sounds great. except idk if the bearing edges are bad or if my hoops are bent. i can’t get the floor tom to sound good. it has the weird vibration that rings out after you hit it. i’ve tuned it so many times. the only time it doesn’t do it is if i have it tuned really high but then it just sounds like garbage anyway. but also that marching kick is sweet. i just got a 1920s ludwig marching kick 27” i just need to find heads for it. i’m stoked for it though. my dad has a ludwig set that’s all the same specs as bonhams, but i’m stoked for the vintage sound. nice mahogany shell too should sound sick

About to buy this; but I wish there was a decay control, especially for tightening up that kick directly in the interface.
EDIT: Any possibility of adding decay and tuning? I'm 5 minutes into playing it, and find myself wanting to tweak the tuning on the snares and the decay on the kicks. Really digging the sounds.
I would definitely purchase this if it was on a different player.
What’s wrong with kontakt
@@punkrosezer01197 My experience: It's slow and buggy... and samples that sound fine on other players sound muffled when they're played in kontakt. You asked... sorry.
Would have definitely bought this if I didn't have to get Kontakt. Any chance in the future there will be a standalone for ableton or will you ever make it kontakt player compatible?

One question though, the snapshots don't seem to load?
The down arrow next to "DEFAULT" doesn't do anything, nor do the left + right arrows on the same strip.
There is a snapshots folder and I was able to drag them and get it loaded that way, but only one at a time.
Is there a way to get them all in there so using the arrows would enable to scroll through them?
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

You might need to create a Soft Drums folder inside your .../User Content/Kontakt Folder
I know it's a bit of a pain, but it's the only way to get those snapshots loaded properly
Can you custom map this library to Maschine MK3, Novation LPX or other finger drumming gadgets?
I’m not familiar with those gadgetsc but should be able to as long as you can tell the gadget to have a pad play a specific midi note.

it's how you access snapshots, which are basically presets

This is not an NKS library? I guess you meant its not Kontakt Player compatible?
It does not have NKS support. It will not work in the Free Player.
@@JonMeyer NKS support and ability to run in free Player are two seperate issues. Just saying!
I understand your point. It’s extremely difficult communicating Kontakt vs Kontakt player. I try to make it as simple as possible, which actually ends up confusing more experienced users like yourself. But no matter what I say or how many times I write it on the website, I still get purchased from folks who have not purchased the Full version.

Hi Jon, just a quick note to let you know that your description link to soft drums has a typo (.comc) and so it doesn’t work. Hope that helps. That aside, great video and an exciting new drum VST I’m seriously considering…
