    Thank you for the video!
I have MT 6211 and have to change the belt, in fact there is no belt at the moment. What size of belt did you use?

Honestly I don't know. I had a pack of replacement belts of various sizes available and just picked one out that fit without too much tension on the drive spindle. I have seen fisher replacement belts listed on Amazon and other websites though! They may have the size listed as well.

Gokhan, Did you have trouble taking off the platter to change the belt? I have an MT-6211 as well. Found it today at the thrift shop and I can’t get it off. I need a new belt

@@LuvLafLiv93 I'm fairly sure that the MT-6211 is a Direct Drive turntable. I could be wrong but I don't think it even has a belt as the platter is being driven by magnetic coils in the base of the unit. It has a lot in common with turntables such as the high end ones from Technics, during the 80s a lot of their lineup would be driven directly

@@SweHam hello! Thank you for this response. I was able to pop it open and it turns out it needed a belt. There was a black residue around a part and it was from an old belt that had broken off. Was able to find a new one and place it! Works like a dream!

If it's stuck super tight you might need to tap the spindle with a hammer first. Then try prying it up using the method in the video
