Got one and love it after 4500 miles. Dry rubber mounts under box, spray with PTFE. I do have a buzz from front dash at low speed, will have to strip it down this winter, try to find it. For the money this is one hell of a bike. Enjoy the videos.
Yeah i adjusted 2 of the rubbers and been perfect since. The bike performed brilliantly on our European tour ... gotta say I'm mega impressed , got a pipe on it now and had it mapped
Ive just completed the nc500 3rd august on mine two up with the wife on the back and luggage just over 1500 mls in 5 days shaun it ran perfect never missed a beat im finding it a perfect bike for real world touring but mine is the 702 X good luck on your trip mate you wont have any problems its a cracking bike at a cracking low price with a great engine im well happy ive changed the front screen to a taller one put crash bobbins on and installed a tpms removed the rubber foot pegs It could do with a remapp to sort out the low speed hunting to be honest but when questioning the dealer its a characteristic of the benelli ive got used to it now to be honest but i will get it remapped soon as its out of warranty smooth it out at low speed other than that ive found it to be a great buy its a keeper for me enjoy whats not to like a brand new bike for £6499 🏍💨👍
i had the trk 502 ,went scotland a few times on it fully loaded with camping gear ,didnt miss a beat they are great bikes ,so the 702 is better so you will have no problems
A lovely bike that Benelli, had been having a look at both the 702 & the 502 at my local dealer a while back and to be fair they've done a fine job on them. One thing which had got me, is that at the time Benelli were throwing the full luggage boxes in with the bike itself not sure if they're still doing that now though.
That’s a really nice bike! I love the colour too, and the deal with the luggage is pretty good. Really looking forward to seeing the tour videos, and Faye riding her bike on tour for the first time! ❤
Good look with the new bike 😊 I like to have my sat nav on all the time as I like to know what real speed I'm doing + on Garmin sat navs & others you can trace your ride history in case you have a accident etc to prove what speed you wear doing at a particular time ( see Tea pot one video all about it 😊)
If I was in the market for a mid sized adventure bike , one of these would deffo be on my short list. All the reports & reviews I seen & heard about them , suggest they are reliable & great value for money . Nice colour too , & although not a 3 box W ⚓️ type myself , the boxes will certainly be a welcome bonus for those ,who are into them , & handy for beer transportation duties . You’re back in the game Shaun , you & Faye enjoy your trip . 👍
Hi Shaun, Nice ride you got there an Italian Benelli, I must say that is a tidy looking bike like the mat metallic green on the fuel tank. That is some test run to Gretna Green and back. This is the bike for you, catch you soon, Take care
Well Shaun didn't see that coming the 702 but tell you what for the price you can't go wrong three boxes and the rest ........very nice looking machine too good colour and if it does the job you want it to go for it enjoy the tour looking forward to see the videos from it both have a good time
I've just got back from cypress, they had loads of benellis over there. They are the Chinese brand I trust more than any other Chinese brand apart from VOGE. Enjoy👍
Didn't even know there was two five o'clocks Haha nice ride will be interesting too see how you get on with the bike on your tour, hopefully will be all good. Looking forward to the tour. Ride safe 😎
great value for the money with the full luggage Shaun be interesting to see how it goes on your tour .i think i heard they are bringig a 900 hundred version out unless i dreamt it 😂😂 hope you and fay have a great tour .
hi shaun brilliant choice.looks great ..I've sat on one in a dealers at peterlee .but family circumstances as you know ..head shake and walk out {BLESS HER .MY ROCK } never mind I'll dream ..looking forward to yours and our fayes adventures. ride safe...the old fella
Not a lover of Benelli , hope it serves you ok Shaun, have a great trip, exciting times for you both, Faye on her own bike and you free to stretch your legs when you feel like it 😁👍🏼
I new you would get one , it makes perfect sense for the money and I doubt you will have any issues. Be very interesting to see how you get on with it once you get some miles under its belt. I think for the money there an absolute bargain.
Amazing deal I would have one ? But no service or dealership near me great value and best selling in Italy and in Europe Sam as you I switched to heated gloves? As I fitted heated grips on 8 bikes in the last seven years? I went for the keis heated glove which are excellent about 200 from sportsbike shop! Looking forward to your tour 👍
Hi Fella. Well, well well. Gobsmacked! What a choice. Certainly did not see this coming. Cant get over the switchgear being lit up. 'kin marvellous. Many people really knock these bikes. However if looked after I'm sure you will rack up the miles. Lets be honest as you say they are not a GS BUT for the price you paid with the kit you could probably get 3 of these for the price of a GS. Spares cheaper, accessories cheaper servicing cheaper, economy probably better comfort well time will tell. Whatever happens if you either love or hate this bike it is a totally usable tool and if you only keep it for a while you are back on the road with a new bike with 2 years warranty. Best move you could have made. Hope you and Faye enjoy your tour, keep safe and I like others look forward to your posts. Best and both of you take care, Old Bloke.
It's crazy these are sold for that price mate,a true unbelievable bargain! 😵👍 Seen a few of them out & about recently & think you chose the best colour! 😎✌️ Ride safe & can't believe your pinky still has a dressing on it! 👍
Ano this is an old video, did you ever look at the cfmoto 800mt. I started watching your videos cause something I searched it came up. I'm going to france in may from Glasgow, gettin the dieppe ferry. my uncle lives in blanzay. So we are going via rouen, lemans, angers, poitiers in to blanzay, then up to the nurburgring, then amsterdam and get the ferry back to Newcastle. Everythings booked cant wait first time doing something like this 😊😊 I'm on a 2018 kawasaki z1000sx
Yeah nice looking bike the cfmoto although way to pricey as already had the bmw gs which was worth less than the cfmoto plus i got the trk702 for less than 6k with full luggage , sounds like a cracking trip plus a lot of the stops we usually do ... 👍👍🏍
@TinsonTour I watched quite a few of your vids. Ive left likes for use. Alot of lovely places use have visited. One of my pals has the trk502 its a cracking bike. Your 702 is nice very modern looking . The engine looks like an old kawasaki 650cc engine. Cracking price you got it for
Well I wasn't expecting a Benelli, was thinking you'd be going down the CF Moto route. Don't know much about these, but looks good though and I love the colour👍. Hope she does ya proud on the continent. I'm just packing for England, leaving here on 5th. Plan on stopping at LaMoto for a couple days, on my way back to Switz. Bon voyage Bud, and keep the rubber side down.
It's a bargain. Well proved engine, loaded with equipment, a third of the price of a GS. What's not to like? Sooner or later everyone will wake up to the fact that bike prices are outrageous, and very few can now afford to buy them outright. I'm afraid to say that the major brands are being shown the way. Enjoy the bike and your saving, while getting to exactly the same destination and having enjoyed the ride. Ride safe 👍
Hi Sean How you getting on with your new steed thinking about getting one myself. Have you used the bmw satnav cradle to house the carpuride? Enjoying the vids Keep m coming Cheers Tony
Know a guy has the 500cc one think it’s the (502), he has had it for 3-4 years & loves it . He said getting a good dealerships was the biggest problem for parts & servicing & if you look after it so it didn’t rust . Should be a good buy , health to enjoy & looking forward to see how you get on .
There was a few negative comments about the 502 version being slightly top heavy when full of petrol, making difficult when cornering, this 702 version looks great.
Shaun, so chuffed for ya.. and right now here's me thinking, about changing my Benilli 502c for a 2013 BMW R1200RT with 47000 miles for £4500...." how mad is that", do you think im mad or should i go for it ,as no Benilli dealers close to me in London and mechanics and garages are generally happy to work on BM's...taking a chance i know..
Excellent, pleased you have a smile on your face. Two questions Shaun, being the same stamp as me , how does it cope and also how was your arse after that mileage on the seat. Enjoy your holiday.
Got one and love it after 4500 miles. Dry rubber mounts under box, spray with PTFE. I do have a buzz from front dash at low speed, will have to strip it down this winter, try to find it. For the money this is one hell of a bike. Enjoy the videos.

@@TinsonTour We also have the best colour.
Ive just completed the nc500 3rd august on mine two up with the wife on the back and luggage just over 1500 mls in 5 days shaun it ran perfect never missed a beat im finding it a perfect bike for real world touring but mine is the 702 X good luck on your trip mate you wont have any problems its a cracking bike at a cracking low price with a great engine im well happy
ive changed the front screen to a taller one put crash bobbins on and installed a tpms removed the rubber foot pegs
It could do with a remapp to sort out the low speed hunting to be honest but when questioning the dealer its a characteristic of the benelli ive got used to it now to be honest but i will get it remapped soon as its out of warranty smooth it out at low speed other than that ive found it to be a great buy its a keeper for me enjoy whats not to like a brand new bike for £6499 🏍💨👍
Nice looking machine! Best of luck on your tour, both of you!
i had the trk 502 ,went scotland a few times on it fully loaded with camping gear ,didnt miss a beat they are great bikes ,so the 702 is better so you will have no problems
Great bike, got one myself recently. Enjoy the trip on it, will look forward to see how it handles. Ride safe.
Yep full givi aluminium boxes with liners free with mine
Best wishes for the tour Sean & Faye, safe rides out there and more awesome videos on the way. 👍👍

Lovely bike, loving those illuminated switches.👌
Hi Shaun, Nice ride you got there an Italian Benelli, I must say that is a tidy looking bike like the mat metallic green on the fuel tank. That is some test run to Gretna Green and back.
This is the bike for you, catch you soon, Take care
Great to see you got wheels again mate you two have a great time you deserve it 👍❤️
Nice bike mate you test rode one before, they are great value for money and the build quality is excellent, all the best mate
Love the colour scheme, hope it stays reliable for you
Well Shaun didn't see that coming the 702 but tell you what for the price you can't go wrong three boxes and the rest ........very nice looking machine too good colour and if it does the job you want it to go for it enjoy the tour looking forward to see the videos from it both have a good time
So pleased for you. That is a cracking looking bike, I really liked that the control buttons light up. You can both go and enjoy the holiday now 👍
Nice looking bike!
Luggage cost, I think that shows that these companies have been making a killing off us for luggage.
Have a great tour!
Absolutely ridiculous prices for luggage
I've just got back from cypress, they had loads of benellis over there.
They are the Chinese brand I trust more than any other Chinese brand apart from VOGE. Enjoy👍
Have a great trip.👍. In percentage terms that's going to have a huge depreciation but in monetary terms it will probably be less than a new BMW. 😁
19:40 benelli themselves in their ad 20l tank, so it looks like you were OK 😊
Enjoy the new bike Shaun ! Ordered myself a new bike today too 🏍
Good looking bikes , and for the price you can’t go wrong , happy days 😁
Can’t wait to see how you rate it because I need a new bike. 🎉
My kind of thing Shaun. It would have to be the X version tho. Happy new bike day!
Not my cup of tea , but unbelievable value ! Nice video Sean

Now thats one bike I never thought you would choose, thought it was a Yamaha TDM at first, is it something the mrs can get on and be comfortable.
Been looking at these, lovely looking bike
Well done good choice I’ve just put a deposit done on 702x
I new you would get one , it makes perfect sense for the money and I doubt you will have any issues. Be very interesting to see how you get on with it once you get some miles under its belt. I think for the money there an absolute bargain.
good lad go for it both of you
Love the back lit switches. The new GS still doesn't have them if I'm correct in thinking
Yeah great little touches
That looks and sounds the nuts mate proper nice 👍
Nice bike shaun, hope you have a great trip, , should say money on fuel touring on that, more money to spend on trips.
These bikes look like great value for money
Very nice ride safely.

Seen a few of them out & about recently & think you chose the best colour! 😎✌️
Ride safe & can't believe your pinky still has a dressing on it! 👍
Nice bike mate i traded my GS1250 for a CF Moto 800MT Explore as it was all i could afford You cant beat value bikes .Have a great tour
nice bike shaun happy days eh 👌
Did you buy the bike cause it resembles the 1250GS? Surely looks that way, but only a 702… might need more puff on the highway.
Nahhh already had a 1250gs and 5 gs1200s and gotta sat it's more than quick enough 3 days into a European tour and no worries at all
Nice one Shaun really pleased for you mate how’s the finger
Great looking bike
Is that backlit switchgear? Nice. You don't get that on bikes costing 3 times that (cough, GS, cough!) 😁
I don’t care I love my GS 😂😂
nice looking bike sean
Looks really nice

@philiphiggins4822 yeah bullet proof kawasaki engine plus it's gonna be Fayes bike very soon as can easily be made low enough
@TinsonTour she will enjoy that. The seat looks right comfy on it. Are going back to the gs or do you have your eyes in another toy
@philiphiggins4822 nahh I'm pretty much done with adventure bikes so more of a street type bike i think
Mate that’s a nice bike this makes me think about one all I do is spend lots of money on Ktm and gs. You have me thinking.
Really interested in the Kove 800 if it ever gets released
Really nice colour is that green, the dogs danglers. Will it still be in the Tins stable at Christmas though?
Well I wasn't expecting a Benelli, was thinking you'd be going down the CF Moto route. Don't know much about these, but looks good though and I love the colour👍.

I thought you got as far as Cumbria, not Scotland?
Gretna Green
Bet you wished you’d kept your Africa twin. I know I would
It's a bargain.

Continue mine back under cover now lol
Similar to the explorer comfortable bikes
Was a genuine offer to borrow mine
Hi Sean
How you getting on with your new steed thinking about getting one myself.
Have you used the bmw satnav cradle to house the
carpuride?
Enjoying the vids Keep m coming
Cheers
Tony
Loving it , no just used a ram mount to attach to the bike
Another bike
How long are you going to keep this one?
All the best😂
Sean where did the sat nav come from and cost.
I believe it's a carpuride it's in one of the previous vids
I'm still on my africa twin adventure sports 😂, but lots of mods.

glad to see your back on a bike, looking forward to hearing your views on the bike as it's on my list when I move on from the CB500X
There was a few negative comments about the 502 version being slightly top heavy when full of petrol, making difficult when cornering, this 702 version looks great.
Needs must mate. Have a good trip. Give you six months with the bike 😂
Well! Faye had me guessing bikes and I didn't even consider that one 😆
But of you're gonna mock us standy uppys I'm gonna have to unsubscribe 😆😆😆🙈
Excellent, pleased you have a smile on your face. Two questions Shaun, being the same stamp as me , how does it cope and also how was your arse after that mileage on the seat. Enjoy your holiday.
