I am from guam born there and learned everything growing up and surviving the island way of life. Growing up out here in California is a totally different way of life and people taking life for granted. Robert i watch your videos and buddy you know first hand what we as islanders do with what we have to survive. Robert I want to thank you and your family for being there and seeing how we islanders survive with out the luxuries but we islanders stick together, helping each other through any situation. Thank you again. 💪🤙💪🤙🙏🙏

Honest, hardworking people appreciate things more bcuz they work for everything they get and not a lot of "indulgences". They figure out early what it takes most a lifetime to learn. At the end of the day, as long as u have your health, food in your belly, a comfortable place to lay your head and love of family in your life....you're a wealthy man! 👍 FACTS! 😊

That tree climbing like that is something just not seen in the US very often.
I remember when we went back to the island from which my father immigrated. He was in his late 60s when we visited, and he scampered up a 50' tall coconut tree like a squirrel and twisted off a couple of coconuts. That was after practicing medicine in Florida for more than 40 years (so no tree climbing practice during that time).
You can take the boy off the island, but you can never take the island out of the boy!

That seasoning he used is called “Ajinomoto”. It’s MSG powder. Mono sodium glutamate. It’s the japanese term for it. We use it in Hawaii too. We just call it “Aji” for short lol.

I'm allergic to msg. It's HORRIBLE for your brain, too. It's just a type of salt, a taste bud irritant that tricks your mind into thinking whatever you are eating tasted good. It seriously affects your brain and can bring on fatal illnesses.
