I love that Sora's mom responded with "Chotto muzukashii kana" (it would be a bit hard) instead of "muri kana" (it's not possible). At first, it feels like a round about way to tell Sora she can't do something, but I think these subtle differences in language train kids to not think of things as impossible, but just might be difficult and they'll have to work hard to achieve things in life. Sora has definitely shown us the result of such hard work. Sora didn't think growing from 13 viewers was impossible. OR I am just thinking WAY too into this.
