I also was a member of a dance organizational which hosted workshops but I haven't been in touch with them for a long time. Will renew membership. I have taught a little years ago mostly beginners. @@carolmarr6607 In Modern Standard Arabic it would be "ummi". With an "o" it's more dilectal. Omi is an English name for this move. In Poland we often call it Moroccan circle 😉

I like your demonstration on omi very clear. It is not a move I know. Is it a move that is fairly new in Oriental dance? I have danced for many years
