Humpty Hump is Shock G (3:58 at the right with the zebra hat). This man is one of the most underrated rappers/procuders/musician (his other alias in DU is Piano Man) in hip-hop. RIP Greg E Jacobs, you're a legend.
Agree 100% and this is one of the 🐐 rap songs. The beat, lyrics, story all excellent.

I know I'm late finding this but I figured I'd answer your question "Did people actually do The Humpty Dance in the clubs?!" Yes, they did. Small lines would even form during parts of the song and then break up again in others. You never knew exactly what the crowd had in store that night but it was always a blast!
