Driving a train full of passengers during the night at such a high speed is an extremely difficult and stressful job. Highest respects to these LPs and ALPs....you guys are the best.👌👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Driving train at 150km/h on Indian track at night with such low visibility needs God support as well. 😊
Stressful for loco pilot,AlPs and railway guard too who has to control and manage everything in the train
Bro Signal lights are the only way to Drive a loco in that dark, When Green They go with their full speed when yellow decrease the speed
The amount of TRUST between the signaller & driver is inconceivable.......
Only few knows that bhopal shatabdi sometimes even touch 155 kmph.

The Loco headlight is very deem which may be dangerous to see the railway track specially in heavy rain . Kamayani express was also suffered due to this deem or low headlight otherwise in old locos , the headlight's effect was at 500 meters from the loco.
Headlight switch is in neutral position thats why its dim
Loco lights are so dim
They should provide for bright headlights in the new Engines
If the lights are too bright it will be a problem for the LPs to look outside and see all the speed limits and all that boards... Cheers👍
Loco pilots depends on signal during night time. Lights do not help them much. I tell you why because if they install a very strong head light still they able to see only 150 - 200 meters max. With such high speed let say if they see any object at a distance of 200 meters they would not able to stop the train. Head light is for others to see if a train is coming or not.

They Were Going At 150 And For around 1 to 1 1/2 Minutes They Did Not See Any Signal They Brought The Speed To 120 and once They again saw Green Signal they Raise it back to 150 Good And Responsible LP And ALP.
Hats off to the loco pilots. More difficult and challenging than piloting an aircraft.
