Can the art styles, shadings, and angels get any better? Like dang man, no extravagent editing/filters, nor lousy animation, it's just so tranquil, so peaceful, like the OG 2009 polandball style but with a tinge better. Great art, great video, I love it. Actually the 🇪🇺 European flag is not "only" the flag of the EU.
It has first been adopted by the Council of Europe in 1955 (the first treaty leading to the EU, the Treaty of Rome, was only ratified in 1957). The Council of Europe is another regional intergovernmental organization whose goal is to ensure the rule of law and democratic principles in Europe as a continent. For instance, it's thanks to the Council of Europe we have the European Court of Human Rights.
The European Union only adopted the European flag as its own in 1985. Nowadays most european countries, even if not part of the UE, are part of the Council of Europe (including Switzerland, the UK and Norway, countries outside of the UE), with the notable exceptions of Belarus (never part of it because of its dictatorial regime) and Russia (which was excluded in 2022 after invading Ukraine).
TLDR : you're more than correct in using this flag as the one of the continent, as it is also the one used by the organization of which almost all of European States are members.
