I love the way you presented your model. I love the kit and your building techniques. Great job!

Excellent finish! Very well done. I was liking the standard camouflage at first but after the addition of the 'snow' you've hit it out of the park!

I think your spot on with the rough white over layer. Very nice work.

VERY nice build! This is one of my favorite Luftwaffe aircraft! I actually have a couple myself that I am holding to get some other vehicles so I can make a Tunisian diorama! Still, I really like your build and descriptions! Especially your descriptions of how your winter paint and how it was field applied! Nice! Keep on building and I look forward to your other builds!

All you really need is to find some picture that really grabs your interest. Start small, like a single engine fighter getting refueled or something. One of my favorites was a P-40E I did in 1/72 in an old shack (RAAF markings) getting its engine worked on. I used some figures from the ESCI 8th army figures, made the table and even had one guy behind the building taking a leak! No matter what sparks your interest, just go with it! you appear to have the skills!

great work, the hs129 is one of my favourite aircrafts! i built revells 1/48 scale kit several years ago, to bad i can´t find that kit anymore in the shops.

When I started building this aircraft, I remember that I had a similar kit among other boxes of unbuilt kits. Since I don´t need it anymore, I wouldn´t mind giving it to someone. If you were interested on this kit, and if I knew how could I do it, I could give it to you.
The back of Italeri´s box recomends you a set of WWII German weapons in 1/72 scale to improve this kit, but they´re basically on bombs and fuel tanks, I think.

Thank you very much :) I urgently need to learn to making dioramas so that my kits look more spot-on, naturally... But I doubt that I have the imagination to make interesting dioramas. Lack of practice, I guess...

I didn´t know that Revell did a 1/48 Hs-129. It would´ve been interesting for me to see it. And tes: when I first saw this plane (referring to Revell´s old kit) it caught my attention her compact structure and triangular fuselage section, and triangular wings (that somehow remind me of the P-40´s...) Thank you.

Nice models! The general view, however, seems to be that it was originally an Italeri kit that Revel re-boxed.

Thank you very much. However, I feel that the metalic thread that I used for this kit was a bit too thick for it. I should´ve probably used a thinner (and black) thread...

I nearly got this kit when it came out, but by the time I had made my mind up and gone back to the shop it had been sold.. so I never got it! But I have a Bilek reboxing of the old Airfix kit, which I hope to build at some point.. not sure when! It comes with a whopping big anti-tank canon!! :) Great looking models both of yours, bits missing or not... :) :)

It´s incredible how many Italeri kit´s I´ve been building lately... And the next new kit will naturally be from Italeri too! But before that, I may restore and repaint a Hasegawa old kit (my first restoration this year).

Thank you very much, but still I don´t consider myself a "professional" kit-builder even if I´ve been building kits for the last fifteen years or so. I know that I still need to improve my techniques a little bit...

I normally use melted sprue to make anthens, it depends on the kind of sprue and the heat yuou apply to it. I also used thin electric wire, but it's difficult to work with it.

I have never sold anything to anybody via internet before, so I just don´t have the foggiest idea of how to do it. My mind is practically blank :P I guess that I´d need your email address or something...
As for the P-40 kit, you´ve deffinitely acquired a SUPERB kit, but before you start with it, I guess that you should do some research on the P-40E painting options, which were not few at all! RAF, DAF, US ARMY, USSR, RAAF, and even as a P-40 captured by the Japanese. Have fun with it!

i think revells 1/48 scale hs129 was a reboxed hasegawa kit, but i´m not 100%sure.
