Pretty reasonable request. Those who visit there, chances are probable the patron would like to buy something there.

Isn't that how coffee shops used to function?

      Really ,yes.

Seems reasonable to me. Not in the business of offering affordable housing.

All I’m gonna say is home FTW. Watch Netflix and chill. Make coffee at home. Do my online business and studies at home. No disturbance, no distractions, and no noise. Just peace and quiet. Got my own gym at my garage. Everything I need is at home.

You're very blessed, some of us still must mingle with the absolute animal element, garbage to its core, that is a Canadian. God bless those of them

they wanted to attract students out of libraries and freelancers out of offices, now that those libraries are closed and those office are shut down, they choose now to enforce the rules. same thing as uber and doordash.

You do know that Starbucks is the founding father of retail woke culture and their billionaire CEO Howard Schultz is a mega donor for all Dem Presidential candidates starting with Bill Clinton, Obama, H Clinton, Biden and Kamala Harris!
Liberals prefer Starbucks, conservatives go to McDonald's or Burger King!

I was a regular at a pub that used to offer free oysters once a week during happy hour for patrons. A certain type of people would come in, order water from the wait staff, and then proceed to devour the free oysters. They would then leave and not have the common courtesy to even tip the wait staff. Disgusting behaviour.

Ok, I’m fine with only paying customers using tables but bathrooms are a necessity for everyone. I am a card carrying Starbucks customer and occasionally I stop in to use the bathroom without buying anything. Well I just cut up my a Starbucks card. I will go elsewhere to buy my coffee.

It looks like they have too much business that they feel this is ok. Not getting another cent from me.

Bruh. This is an entirely reasonable policy. I dislike Starbucks, and I've disliked many things they've done over the years, but this isn't one of them.
Imagine if you had a coffee shop or a restaurant, and a bunch of people would come in to use your customer wifi and loiter there for several hours (or all day) and buy absolutely nothing. You probably wouldn't be putting up with it.
