IUI, या Intrauterine Inseminationन, एक fertility treatment procedure है जिसमें निषेचन की संभावना बढ़ाने के लिए तैयार sperm को सीधे महिला के uterus में रखा जाता है।
-यह क्लिनिक में की जाने वाली बांझपन के लिए एक बहुत ही बुनियादी प्रक्रिया है।
-प्रत्येक प्रयास में सफलता की दर 10-11% होती है और इस प्रक्रिया को 4 से 5 बार करना चाहिए।

-महिला पार्टनर की उम्र 35% साल से कम होनी चाहिए

-पुरुष साथी को एक बाँझ कंटेनर में हस्तमैथुन के माध्यम से वीर्य का नमूना प्रदान करने के लिए कहा जाएगा।
-शुक्राणु को एक विशेष घोल में फिर से निलंबित कर दिया जाता है जिसे शुक्राणु-धुलाई माध्यम के रूप में जाना जाता है। यह समाधान शेष प्रोटीन, एंजाइम, फ्रुक्टोज, मलबे, मृत शुक्राणु और अशुद्धियों को धोने में मदद करता है, जिससे एक केंद्रित और शुद्ध शुक्राणु का नमूना निकल जाता है। शुक्राणु 95% में केवल 5 प्रतिशत हैं।

-IUI procedure में good quality वाले sperms को catherer के माध्यम से सीधे uterus में डाला जाता है।
-Intercourse की प्रक्रिया में sperm को uterus, cervix से गुजरना पड़ता है।
-इसमें 80% sperms बाहर निकल जाता है, केवल 20% cervix के माध्यम से यात्रा करता है, और गर्भाशय ग्रीवा में प्रवेश करने वाले 20% वीर्य में से 90% नष्ट हो जाता है।
-Uterus के अंदर केवल healthy sperm ही जाता है, क्योंकि uterus cervix और vagina प्रवेश द्वार पर सभी impurities को नष्ट कर देते हैं ताकि infection का कोई मौका न हो।
-यह प्रक्रिया हम IUI के जरिए हासिल करते हैं
05:00 Pre-washed और post-washed sperm analysis
Sperm को seminal fluid व से अलग करने के लिए किया जाता है, जिसमें ऐसे पदार्थ होते हैं जो महिला के woman's reproductive tract में discomfort पैदा कर सकते हैं।
Sperm को एक विशेष घोल में फिर से निलंबित कर दिया जाता है जिसे sperm-washing medium के रूप में जाना जाता है। यह समाधान proteins, enzymes, fructose, debris, dead sperm, और impurities, को धोने में मदद करता है, जिससे एक concentrated और purified sperm का sample निकल जाता है। sperms 95% में केवल 5 प्रतिशत हैं।
तैयार sperm का sample तब insemination के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। IUI में, concentarted sperm को एक पतली catheter का उपयोग करके सीधे महिला के uterus में रखा जाता है, जो आमतौर पर महिला के ovulation के आसपास होता है।
