Been there done that! Northern Ireland was the best travel I have ever had! Thanks to Northern Ireland for reciving me! :) and thank you VegaBros for reminding me of my great trip!
+Naomi Burrows glad you enjoyed our video Naomi. You live in a beautiful place 🙌🏼 have you seen our full Ireland Series (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland)?
As a resident of Northern Ireland I've been to the Giant's Causeway many times. Several years ago the National Trust built a visitor's centre and the signage related to that gives the impression that it's the only way to access the Causeway. They charge quite a considerable amount to enter the visitor's centre. Access to the Causeway is actually free so if you are on a tight budget look for the signs directing you to the Causeway without having to go via the visitor's centre.
Guys, loved this video. I'm from Pennsylvania but just got back myself from 10 days in Ireland. Saw Dublin, Belfast, Galway and the Aran Islands (thanks to your videos). But by far my favorite part was the Northern Coast. Carrick-a-rede is one of the most breathtaking places I've ever been, and of course the Causeway is amazing. I'm curious, did you guys get the chance to check out Ballintoy Harbor? Or any of the Glens of Antrim? Northern Ireland is beautiful and underrated in my opinion, so thanks for taking the time to give it some more exposure. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing your adventures in Northern Ireland! I'm studying in Coleraine and Magee in the next academic year at Ulster University and I'm excited to explore Northern Ireland to the fullest.
Love this video! I've been to these places when on holiday from Scotland and fell in love with Northern Ireland so it's great to see you enjoying the sites the way I did :)
That bridge is reinforced and very strong now. Many years ago, maybe 40-50 it was literally a few wooden slats, with rope Holding them together. There may be some images on google of the old bridge. Now not many would have crossed it the way it used to be. It was very dangerous and scary. Nowadays it is just a nice walk over a very sturdy bridge. Though I’ve seen many walk all the way down from the car park, (maybe 20 mins walk) and then decide they can’t cross it. Lol.
as a geologist, giant's causeway is on my top list for pilgrimage geology trip 😍 fyi, it is actually a formation of lava basalt rocks with collumnar joints, the "joints" (in geological term) is formed when the rock is contracted, usually during the cooling of the basaltic lava
If you ever come back do the North Coast Game of Thrones tour with McCombs. You'll see the King's Road and other scenes. You're my favourite travel channel and I hope you come back to Northern Ireland in the future.
Nice video guys!! My parents bought a house just 2 minutes from Bushmills Distillery...We love being back!!!! We're there for about 2 to 4 months every Summer. I was born in Belfast but now live in Canada. There's no place like home though... Hope you had fun in N. Ireland boys. :=P
The Giants Causeway looked amazing.. And I loved the feature on hurling. 👍Gaelic games or GAA such as hurling and Gaelic football are a huge part of Irish culture.
haha bet you guys were freezing! Loving the NI videos as it brings back some good memories for me having visited these places myself & conquered that damn rope bridge!
"This is one of those moments" Proceeds to show you how he´s taking a moment and ejoying it.... while filming it hahahaha Nah, but great videos haha! I´ll be going to Ireland in January so this is cool to get some ideas on what to do.
Hurling is mostly only played by the people from nationalist backgrounds (identify as irish) while many unionists (identify as British) would not play hurling and would instead play rugby or soccer. Although this has changed in recent times, it still remains the same in regards to the Gaelic sports of hurling and Gaelic football.
So encouraged and disappointed by seeing the reenactment, as I thought it was a thought original to my immature mind. You guys did it so well. We are a father-son team of anthropologists who just started TH-cam, but we attempt to emulate and build on what you guys have accomplished. When we grow in popularity, I would love to convince you to go on some crazy UNESCO-based trip with us. For now, I just wanted to say hi and plant the seed for future collaboration. Cheers and hope to see you guys out together again soon. - Turtle and Bear, Old Soles Travel
We done this tour directly from Belfast with City Tours Belfast, Full day trip up to the Northern tip of Ireland, A must do trip if in the Emerald Isle citytoursbelfast.com/Hop-on-hop-off.html
How did you guys get permission to fly a drone in this and other National Trust property no-fly zones? Thanks to many of your videos, suggestions, and advice, my wife and I are traveling to Republic of Ireland and N. Ireland this September and would love to visit many of the sites you feature in your videos. I own a sub-250g drone (DJI Mini Pro 4) and would love to get shots similar to what's in your videos. But the more I read about flying a drone in either Ireland the more it seems like a complete waste of time!
Hey I know i commented before, but i was watching again, and saying hurling in Northern Ireland is like football in texas is not true...unfortunately. Let me say hurling is my favourite game, and I love it. However, realistically you would say hurling in Munster or kilkenny is like football in texas. In Northern Ireland the game is not really something protestants associate with( well in the past anyway but I dont think there has been a major change yet). Even among Catholic Nationalists the main game is gaelic football in the north. Anyway guys I love the videos I guess its hard to get all the nitty gritty stuff 100% right.
It's hillarious how people state the closer reality with mockery but state the total fable (millions of years ROFLMAO and some vague ass expelenation of how lava formations occur and trying to pretend that those man made rocks are the obvious result of lava cooling) like it's 100% fact. derp.
Love the aerial images!!! they're amazing guys!! keep doing this videos... I'm helping with spanish subs so more people will enjoy your videos. #StayCurios #KeepExploring #SeeYouGuysOnTheRoad

+Naomi Burrows glad you enjoyed our video Naomi. You live in a beautiful place 🙌🏼 have you seen our full Ireland Series (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland)?
Naomi lives like me, in the north of Ireland.
Best spot in all of IRE/NI. The island at Carrick-a-rede is a sacred site for me. Bravo for carving some quality self-time there.

A causeway is another word for a way path or road usually accross the sea adjoining to land areas
looks like so much fun crossing that bridge

Not true. Basalt columns are formed by slow cooling magma.
