Re: The creation of the Giant's Causeway story -> The same beef between the giants was supposed to have created that giant lake in the center of the Irish isle, when the giant tried to throw a large rock at the British isles giant and he missed, creating the Isle of man :D

The goat in cushendun is owned by the pub across the road from the goat statue, he's a wee local symbol. If you're still in the north you should go back to ballycastle and get fish and chips at Morton's. It's renowned as the best in the country!!
I was just in Belfast NI this time last year so I'm using my photos and your videos to relive the experience while we're under social distancing. Really missing all that green, northeast US is slow to start with spring this year!!

At last, someone makes a nice little travelogue video without the stupid comments such as those from American visitors. Cool Aussies that sound so appreciative. What a pity your vid wasn't a lot longer - I think I enjoyed your brief travel as much as you. I know Northern Ireland very well as it was my homeland a long time ago. The cows? For a short time I was a bulk milk collector going to all the farms around Portrush, Giant's Causeway, etc - all so few and far between nowadays. Also wish you'd done a vid on Belfast City - so much to see and do there these days.Glad you had a nice trip.
Did you guys see the Titanic Studios behind Titanic Belfast? That is the studio they film Game of Thrones. I drove the Causeway Coast Route a few years ago and it was one of my favourite trips! Adored Northern Ireland and can't wait to see more in this series!
Don’t forget to take your followers to Galway, such a beautiful, unique town with excellent pubs and wonderful people! Must see the CONNEMARA in Southern Ireland, one of the most beautiful landscapes iv ever witnessed, they say the Leprechauns live there ;) Also visit the Cliffs of Moher.... 700-800 ft cliffs overlooking the Atlantic ocean.... such a wonder of the world!!!! Make sure to drive The Ring of Kerry.... absolutely gorgeous and unforgettable scenic drive by waterfalls and windy canopied roads by the multi colored waters. You can have a medieval lunch in Dungierre Castle replicating the medieval era setting :) Dingle Bay Peninsula is a really neat stop too, you can visit the local dolphin there near the dock!

If there is anyone left on the planet who has never seen GOT, besides me, I'd like to know LOL. We had Election Day here in the US today, an important one. No matter all the outcomes there, your vlogs come up a winner every time. Jess I've said it before..with all the other critters you've encountered (such as kitties), you have a way with them ! :)
I traveled through Ireland and Northern Ireland in September, and seeing all the scenery again makes me want to go back! I don't know if you're still in Ireland, but if you get the chance (and the weather isn't too bad), definitely take the boat to Inis Mór (the largest of the Aran Islands) and rent a bicycle to explore the beautiful island with its castle ruins and seal colonies. Whilst you're there don't miss out on the 'worm hole'! It's a bit off the beaten path but SO WORTH IT! One of the coolest things I've ever seen! My fav city was definitely Galway. Just wander through the beautiful streets and definitely visit some pubs with live music! For dinner go to Dough Bros (best pizza in Ireland) or Blake's bar for amazing pub food (not sure if they have many pescetarian/vegetarian option though). Hooked is great for fish (€6 fish burger, yes please)! Looking forward to the next videos in this Ireland series!
:) I found your channel a week or so ago, and CAN NOT get enough! I have so much wanderlust, this really isn't helping! We traveled to Ireland last May, and saw these sights, it was magical! However watching you guys experience this makes me desperately want to travel back and see them all again!!! Being Canadian, we spent a couple of weeks there before we worked up the courage to drive on the "wrong" side of the road. I almost got hit by a car at the dark hedges because I was looking for traffic coming from the wrong direction! Oops!
Congrats to Stephen for filming while on the bridge! I did it as well while walking on it IT WAS SOOOO SCARY! Especially because you only have 1 free hand to hold yourself.
The goat belongs to Randal, who owns the pub nearby. Randal is also a vet, a politician and a writer. A few years ago there was an outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease and the Government demanded the killing of all cattle and goats. Randal had a different pet goat then and the Gov. officials snatched it from him and killed it. The statue of a goat you saw was erected by Randal in protest and in honour of his pet.

I hope you enjoyed Northern Ireland, but I couldn't help but notice you drove through the dark hedges. The traffic was banned from the road in 2017 and this I assume was filmed in 2018 meaning you have ignored the signs. The reason for the ban is people are parking up the side of the road, damaging the trees. When the strong winds come, the trees fall over. For anyone coming to Northern Ireland/Ireland, please respect, don't leave it worse than the way you found leave it better than the way you found it.

Greetings from Wexford, Ireland 🙋 😀 You'll have to come down south on your next trip. Great vlog! I'm guessing a trip to Slieve League cliffs in Donegal might be coming up soon? Donegal is an amazing place, love it there 😍
Flying The Nest Top tip if you do visit those cliffs - there’s an upper (right at the cliffs) and a lower car park (a Longggg walk away from them), and in summer some quick witted local lads tend to hang around at the gate, where unsuspecting tourists think they have to pay/tip them to open the gate up to the cliffs (if it’s closed) or to pass by. Nope! Just drive right on up (seriously - it’s a LONG, winding, uphill walk from the lower car park) and then head up to the crumbling steps and path for the initial views. If you have time, an ancient pilgrim’s trail actually wanders off along the spines of the hills where the cliffs crumble into the sea, but either way the views are great - and you can look across the sea on a clear day to neighboring counties, such as the distinctive Sligo mountains. Enjoy - and also note the bleak, barren but beautiful rolling hills and plains as you drive south towards Killybegs fishing port, or elsewhere...
