I’m converting my 95 mustang 302 to FiTech. The O2 stock sensor threads match the FiTech O2 sensor threads. Sounds stupid simple but you know, if FiTech was an automotive car manufacturer, you know one of those threads would be 7/8’s and the other 18mm. It’s a beautiful thing when people think things out clearly!!!!!!
Oh, one more thing. I have a hard time watching your videos and seeing the GTO. I had a 69 Judge Ram Air IV I traded in for a 73 Gran Prix SJ for $1500. It haunts me to this very day, and I still have dreams of that car. I had to settle for a 67 Mustang S-code Big block for a fraction of the price the GTO are going for. lol CHeers from Motown.
Ohhh, sorry to hear that! Thank god my Dad didn't sell his, when he had several opportunities to do so, especially when it was broken down and not running. At least you still have a 60's musclecar. Keep at it!
I have been skeptical of buying this kit because of my exhaust. I have dual exhaust and I figured it would need 2 oxygen sensors for both sides. Can it really run off of one side of the exhaust?
Good question. It depends on what system you go with. This FiTech system only needs one oxygen sensor. Most only need one. But, some do require two. Do it! Ha, ha... thanks for the comment.
Most all FI systems before 1981 worked without an o2 sensor, all the way back to the 50's. The o2 enables closed loop under many operating situations, and helps emissions and fuel economy. I.E. bosh, bendix rochester ect. systems.
Great question... not sure if JB weld is heat resistant. BUT, to your point, I know there are several exhaust sealants on the market that would definitely help. Good one!

Ha! Yup! FiTech did a good job of using a lot of industry standard components, for that reason.. Keep at it!
@@FastMonty my hurdle now is finding the stock fuel pump power
Ha! Yeah, Google is your friend. :) Good luck! @@motor_citymuscle288
Great video 👍
Thanks Robert!

would my honda o2 sensor fit?
I have no idea... you're going to have to research that.
Did you install before cats or after cats? Thanks
Welp, I don't have cats. If I did it would most likely be before. Thanks!

Putting the fitec on my 55 chevy pickup, having GET SOME MOTOR SPORTS DOING THE JOB, COMPLETED EXHUAST SYSTEMS
Nice! You're gonna love it! Thanks for the comment.
I did mention that this clamp deal brings issues. Welded is the only way.
Good luck
Yup, I did say that Welding is the BEST way. Thanks!
What if you did this then sealed it with jb weld

@@FastMonty there's high heat jb weld
I’m installing an O2 sensor to better tune my old carburetor 😁🤯
Great idea! Obviously running an O2 gauge to it... Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the vid.
Welcome!
Fitechs instructions wasn't clear enough and didn't explain why it should be at an angle, I'm out to go drill that hole and install that o2 sensor!!
Awesome! Great to hear I was able to help... keep at it! Thanks for the comment!
Hey Mike. I know you have a day job and family, but seriously...... if you can't finish this in 2 days........
Ha! Thanks Chris... Yeah, I'm a slacker. Sleep in until noon every day. Spend 10 minutes on the car. Hit the bar at 3.
This is taking you weeks to install rather than a day or two.
Ummm? Who said it's taken me weeks?
