User interface
Everything looks more sleek and polished.
The menu on the left is the thing that has gotten a major overhaul.
The amount of buttons has increased, but also the size.
Notably the Quantize and Master-Tempo buttons are much bigger.
Preferences screen
The preferences screen got a major overhaul.
Now you can search.
Performance improvements
Rekordbox was always slow and sluggish compared to other DJ software like Virtual DJ.
• The software starts up faster
• It has native support for Apple Silicon, it took AlphaTheta 4 years to catch up.
• The waveform rendering is faster
• They have improved audio threading
• Database reads and writes are faster
Automatic detection of Hot Cues and Cue Points
Automatic detection of Memory Cues and Hot Cues, which can be a huge timesaver.
Regretfully AlphaTheta dumped this feature behind a paywall.
Collection Radar
collection radar and Streaming radar help you to find songs.
Based on AI Rekordbox does an educated guess as to what tracks that are similar.
Dual player mode
There is a new player type in the export mode: dual player.
You are able to link the tracks together so controls like play, cue and scrubbing apply to both tracks at the same time.

I don't feel the need for automatic cue point generation, so no need to pay a subscription.
The hardware unlock is enough for my DJ'ing.

One thing I don’t like about this new. Upgrade is that there are settings in record box that don’t even work with most controllers or cdjs there is no plug and play existing functions

I have the Pioneer djm 450. the other day i connected it to rekordbox. It says that the mixer will unlock Dvs. It said i now have 29 days until my free trial ends. What?!. that's funny. Serato is a perpetual license for now but watch out in the future. I'm sure they have something up theire sleeves to have you pay more money.

Is it worth upgrade if I had sound issues with currently playing tracks while analyzing library tracks at the same time?

Don't bother. But Pioneer (Alpha Theta) also bought Serato.... now that Pioneer is on the decline, they're trying to get every penny they can.

Can someone explain to me the purpose of export mode?

It's meant library organisation (analyze music, create playlists, set cue points etc).
When done: put your music on a usb to use on pioneer equipment in clubs.
The performance mode came years later: perform your DJ gig with a controller (without exporting to usb)
A lot of things you can do in the export mode, you can now also do in the performance mode.
I agree, It has become a bit confusing since they their functions overlap for 85%
